to get 100% compleation do you need to get the rare versions if you have the normal ones???

If you mean silver, gold, future translucent then no, they are the same as the exsting ones in the game so make no diff.

If you mean Legendaries and/or Dark Spyro then I am 97.568734% confident that the answer is still no as you can get all accolades and complete all missions without them.

you only need one of each different element, thats 8 figurines. 3 comes with the game 5 you need to buy extra... then you can complete the game 100%.

Yea, that's what they all say. I said the same thing to my wife about the game. 2 days later I had put 150 miles on our van and was crossing things off on a list. LOL. Still took me the next 5 days and more then 150 miles to find what we needed to get all we could @ our local stores.

Technically, wouldn't 100% completion need to complete all 32 heroic challenges for each character?

as i see it if you complete all levels stars,find hats,soul gem,legendary item, finish the timer, beat kaos and get all trophies, your 100%... the rest i call grinding and are there only to make things a bit easier to complete the game 100%...

yeah and if your not going to get all, you better pick what heroic challenge is the one you want the most... speed,armor,element power or hit power... one thing i find i dont get enough of ingame is speed, so for me thats important and there is 4 challenges for speed.. last one you get with double trouble..

Strangely enough, the game gave me 100% completion after Empire of Ice. I do have all content up to this point, but that's anything but 100% overall. (Playing the PS3 version)

"Technically", yes, to totally complete everything, you'd need to have all the characters fully trained with Heroic Challenges in tow. But to get 100% completion on the file select screen, you just need to 3-star all the levels.

Curiously, I did that and only got 99%; after playing through Pirate Seas, it went to 100%. I'm on the PS3 like Tashiji.

So you don't have to beat all the Heroic Challenges with one character to get 100%? It's one of the accolades so I always guessed it was part of completion.

I just got my 100% last night.... All you have to do is get 3 stars on the levels 1-22. The adventure packs or heroic challenges don't have anything to do with getting 100%.

How many here have got the 100% 3 star accollade?

Just got it not too long ago. Stupid Battlefield took forever because all of the characters derped and rolled the Mega Bomb in some sort of Benny Hill fashion. Screw that level.

I just finsihed all levels 3 stars and it still only shows 96%.
What else do i have to do??

I'm stuck at 93% - I figured once I got Wham-Shell and plopped him on the portal it would give me some more percentage. It didn't. Then I beat Wham Shell's challenge with Flameslinger (who had previously beaten 31 challenges) so that now I have one character that beat all 32 challenges. On the accolades screen it shows all of the completed except for Grand Master. How can that be, as the Grand Master isn't really an accolade itself, but rather just completing all of the other accolades. We have all of the legendary treasures and story scrolls as well as 37/37. I'm stumped as to what needs to happen to get to 100%. Some have said that you have to level up each character to level 10, purchase all upgrades, and beat each character's own challenge. Others have said that isn't the case. I'm on the PS3. Has anyone else gotten to 100% on the PS3? If so, how did you do it? I noticed on the PS3 there are the trophies outside of the game when you hit the PS button, but they don't seem to be attached to an individual save game, but rather to the entire system. Do you really have to do all of those too?

100% Completion is just getting 3 stars on all levels. That's all it is. I've got 100% with only 10 Skylanders. And Heroic challenges have nothing to do with it either.

I've gotten 100% on PS3. It happened at an odd time, after two-starring Empire of Ice. Dragon's Peak, the final star in EoI, and any subsequent characters essentially did nothing. I don't know what causes full completion to trigger.

Weird... I got full 100% before using any expansion packs...

I could be wrong, but I don't think the expansions have anything to do with 100% completion. Unless the game added their stars to the "regular" levels in the game.

I had three stars in every normal level at the time, but only a 93% completion rate. For whatever glitchy reason in the PS3 version's percentage tabulation process, going halfway through Empire of Ice was worth the remaining 7%. It didn't seem logical, but as more and more people report a lack of ability to 100% the PS360 versions at all, I'm coming to realize I may have actually been lucky.

The Wii must be different then, because we got it as soon as we got the last star on the regular levels. Dragons Peak wasn't even in our collection at that time.

Wii Version here, Expansions don't do anything to contribute to 100%. I got it and didn't have Empire or Peak yet. As was noted before, it's just beating all levels and finishing them with 3 Stars.

This. 100 percent is 100 percent; you aren't done til this is finished. Gill Grunt, Spyro and L-Rod down, 34 more to go!

Double Trouble and Wham-Shell done, 32 to go.

Oh, and in case anyone is interested, I've collected all the accolades on the console version and I 100 percent'd the 3DS version yesterday (37/37, 165/165, 41/41... Everything!).
