Skylanders play time falling....... [CLOSED]

Let me start off by saying my interest in Skylanders has not diminished.
My play time has most certainly fallen by the waste-side these days. I have not played it for about two weeks now.

I have been working lots and with Christmas and the holidays ect...it's been hard to find the time!
Maybe many are still playing.... Still working through the campaign???...the ones who got the game for Christmas too must still be playing???

Another factor: I have mostly done everything I can do....gems, stars, upgrades, achievements so I also need more content! I can not wait for Empire of ice and more characters!!!!

Anyone else out there??? Have you stopped or slowed down playing?

i have not played for a month now.. when i got skylanders i played it for two weeks, got the most out of it. i got the two adventures packs but not played yet, i decided i should take a rest. and at least wait for one more adventure pack, so i can have some awesome skylanders time again.. in the meanwhile i have been playing with the ssu game... other than that i have a lot of other games to go though at the moment... but in all this i still have a high interest in skylanders.

I sometime feel myself slipping away my skylander interest =, but then i play for a bit then it comes back. I only have 4 skylanders though and only 1 adventur pack so ive half explored the game so far. (apart from ive done all the campaign mode)

Pretty much the same. For the first month or so at least, I played the heck out of it, hunting down the things for completion and working on getting the 3 stars. However, around November I stopped playing and didn't pick it up again until the last few days of December when I opened the Sonic Boom I got for Christmas.

Recently I went back and got all my characters up to Level 10, and finished upgrading all of them.

I play it everyday, despite owning and needing to beat games like Batman, Zelda, Assassin's Creed and such.

I play it, cause I'm maxing out two sets of 27 characters with Heroics for tournament play. Plus, Heroic Challenges are just fun.

V and I have maxed our first set of 27, but we might like to do our second as well before the semester starts. A lot has already come to light about tournament play simply through what we've done so far, and who knows about the rest. ... Which is to say nothing about differences between Wii and 360 versions, some of which are severe. This is a major project...

I saw your posts on proboards. I've known about a lot of difference between the Wii and 360 versions of PVP.

Here's one for ya. On Hex's Skull Rain upgrade path, her Bone Wall gets spikes. On the Wii version, the bone wall does damage in PVP, but on the 360/PS3 versions, it doesn't.

You guys already mentioned that Ghost Roaster on Wii, only does one hit with his skull charge move. In the 360/PS3 version, he does damage everytime he touches an enemy, and he can circle them in the 360 version, basically doing 35 damage per second.

That Hex difference is a major one. Coming from PS360 in the first place, I simply chalked up all the Bonecrafter love to a trend that was bound to pass.

Have you had a chance to try Eruptor? His Eruption attack hits several times per second in the Wii version on instant-cast, but just once in PS360 with a slight charge-up.

I've been a big fan of Ghost Roaster due to the version I started on, but goodness, is he mediocre on the Wii.

I haven't tried him yet, but I plan on doing an analysis of all Skylanders on both versions, to see their differences in PVP.

I can say this, though. I think since the Wii was the lead platform for the game, with the 360/PS3 versions being announced later, they went back and balanced PVP better on 360/PS3. They nerf some characters, while bringing some up to better potential.

Stealth Elf has no foil that I can find on PS360, that's the only balance issue I see left over. Wii really does have a number of competitive problems...

Oh, and fair fight on the 360/PS3 busts all characters down to level 1, with only their initial two moves.

On the Wii, fair fight keeps your characters levels the same, but busts the highest leveled character down to the weaker character, stat wise (heroics and hp), but they keep the moves they've purchased.

I haven't played the console version in about a month. It's like almost every game - You can only play through it for so long before you tire.

And like others, I've got new games to play. I'd rather play the new games now, otherwise my new games tend to start climbing up and up before long...

So Fair Fight on Wii is actually a fair fight; wow. Color me surprised, because that's a major change...

Fair fight on Wii keeps character levels what they are. You get all the moves you bought, whether or not the other has only two. Stats are busted down to that of the weakest character.

On 360, they straight up make both characters level 1, with only two moves, and all stats based on level 1 Skylanders.

I've not played for a couple of weeks, purely due to familial and social obligations, and the fact that I got three new games for Christmas. Once I get through some of the pile, I will go back to it!

HA! Be lucky you aren't me.

I own 1307 games, as you can see here at my Backloggery -

http://backloggery.com/megax11

I have to list some games as "null," just because I don't think I can ever get to them. I've beaten less than 300 of my games, but all were bought on day 1 of release. This CAN be a good thing though, as 50 dollar games that don't last long, could be perceived as a waste of money. People tend to trade in their games once done, so buying games new and sitting on them, helps to want to keep the game and the game holds it value.

Let's put it this way. I bought GTA III on day 1. I'm only 13% done with the game. Devil May Cry 1, 2, 3 and 4, were all bought on day 1. Part 1 is the furthest I've gotten in a DMC game, and that's only chapter 3. So, while many people have paid 50 bucks for a new game, beat it in a week, and traded it in for less than half of what they paid for it, these games are still brand spanking new to me, after 10 years.

Backloggery is a good way to keep track of what you play and beat, however. Here is actual pics of my game collection -

Where is the sega genesis? dreamcast? 8bit nintendo? Atari 2600?

While that is impressive, it is my opinion that it is a waste of money. I choose to collect other things while it is apparent you prefer to collect video games. As long as you keep your mind busy and have a way to track what you have, as it appears you do, it should provide lots of fun for you now and in the future.

You didn't see the Genesis and NES games in that album of pics? There should be a pic of my Dreamcast, and Genesis Nomad (with battery pack I might add) and even pics of my PS1 w/LCD combo. I won't go further back than NES. While I have played an Atari, my first system was an NES, so I don't try to go further back than that.

Oh, and Tashiji, I forgot another change from Wii to 360/PS3. Boomer on Wii, his ground smash path that stuns enemies, stuns instantly pound after pound on Wii. On 360, it's every other pound, or a 2-3 second delay, before his pound will stun again.
