Although there are quite a few arguments in the other forums besides the Skylanders one, which is well controlled.
The forum with the most arguments is the Stuff and Nonsense forum. It's not well controlled over there.

I'm only 13 and my mom is 50 and my dad is 51 and we all enjoy Skylanders a lot. We mostly do PvP until the next wave releases, usually my Ignitor vs my dads Chop Chop. P.S. i usually win (Flame Sword combos rule)

I'm 42 and i LOVE this game, got the PS3 version and 3DS version, and i have managed to collect all of the released figures so far, i found 2 silver ones in the store and got 2 other silver ones off of ebay, i am obsessed with collecting every single release.

Been 14 since November.

I'm 52, but I still enjoy Skylanders a lot.

Im 18 and I LOVE Skylanders so far. I have it for 3ds and wii.

I'm 30.
I bought Skylanders because it made me think of the anime 'Angelic Layer' (which I want to be a real game so bad). Of course in Angelic Layer they call them 'Angels' and the thing they put them on is called a 'Layer', but outside of naming differences, the basic concept of toys coming to life when on a special surface is very very similar.

The surprise for me was that my wife (also 30) loves this game and plays it as much, if not more, than I do. She's not normally a video gamer.

I hope you don't call me "kid", but I am 11 (soon 12). My mom said it isn't a kid game if it mostly teenagers and adults who play it and 10+/7+ means for those who are 10/7 and older so it's nothing to embbres for to like Spyro when your adult.

You're right, it's only entertainment at the end of the day, and it's not like it's illegal to like stuff like this.

I am 30, my wife 31 and our son 6 months.

We love the game, but as we are in Iceland it is expensive so we do not own everything we would like to own. Single pack is $16,2 and triple pack & adventure pack is $40,5

I feel like if there is ever a new Spyro game, it will hopelessly fail because it isn't marked with the name Skylanders. So I wish that more little kids joined.

20 over here, and I really really want to play this game, after watching Aura's playthrough.

19. I've long been a fan of the Spyro series. I came to it around 2000 after I got a PSOne for my birthday. The first game I bought for it was the original Spyro the Dragon, and I fell in love with the series. I've watched it for quite some time now, and I've been using this username for many years now all across the web.

Skylanders just seems like the perfect fit. To heck with all the naysayers I say. haha

I'm 26. I was a big fan of the PS1 Spyro games when they first came out years ago and I'm now enjoying this game. I have the Xbox 360 version and have recently bought the 3DS version.

I'm 38 and my kids are 8 and 5. We all love playing the game. My kids will never know how hard it was to get the figures we have now and they wont know how much I paid for the ones off of ebay. Video games such as this can never be truely intended for a specific age group. I let my daughter kill cows in Diablo 2 and my son loves the moos.

I am 18 and its a fun game and awesome looking figures if im not playing with them i could put them on my desk for decor

Im 37 and love the collecting side of Skylanders! I have the game on 3DS and PS3 and am yet to play them for more then 2mins. Really like the look of the game, so will get into it soon enough! They wife is very supportive in my quest for being a geek! haha
