The reason why I ask is because the Skylanders game is "for kids", and everything on the Skylanders site is asking for you parents this and wanting your parents that. I am 25 and love the game (would love if they made a big kid version as well) and was trying to get a feel for what average age of a Skylander player.

If your not a 16+ does it rub you wrong at all that they make you feel wrong for being there if your not a little kid?

That's not a first, my Dad started playing the PlayStation when he was 52, his first game was Tomb Raider: Starring Lara Croft in 1996.
And I was born in 1993, so I grew up playing video games. And 1960's music smilie Age is just a number.

I'll date myself at 41 and an probably amobgst the first generation of true "video gamers" ...

Asteroids and Pong and PacMan
Color Computer and Commodore and Apple II and TI and Intellivision
Wizardy and Text Adventures on Cassette and Pitfall
Quarters and $.50 Dragons Lair and Gauntlet
Beta tester for MechWarrior and Diablo and Warcraft and Everquest and Tomb Raider and so many more it would make your head spin

I've played more PC games then, likely, the combined games played of this entire thread.

And, yes, Skylanders roxurs smilie

DUDE! 50 cents for Dragon's Lair? It was 1 dollar here at my local arcade in Oklahoma City back in the day.

If you have a Wii, I suggest you pick up Dragon's Lair Trilogy. The games play better than they ever have, and they're based on the Blu Ray masters, so the picture quality is top notch for a Wii title.

65% are male and 35% female playing this game!

Far cry from the 7 year-old boys this game was targeted too!

yeah but how many 7 year old boys are going to make an account on this site to talk about skylanders when they could be playing it or doing something else. It seems that quite a few of the members of this site are parents of the seven year old boys who have found that they enjoy playing skylanders as well.

I'm so happy we got nice, mature adults/older kids instead.
