So I am trying to complete everything I can in this game and I have not found any compiled source of information yet about hats and scrolls. I am on the fifth world right now and I have managed to get all the crystals so far, but I had to do a lot of searching for most of them. I usually had to replay a level 5 or more times to get everything.

Does anyone know of a site that has this info?

Also if you are stuck, or have any questions about the game lets post them here. I can do my best to help, and if not I'm sure someone else can. smilie

Try youtube. I found some interesting videos. Especially dark Spyro!

Yeah the mystery around this game is what has me having my gf buy it for me for Xmas!

I even hear the adventure packs unlock more than one level on the 3DS! Thats awesome!

I've watched a few videos on youtube and the game looks amazing but trying to avoid learning "too much" and ruining the surprise.

Each adventure pack gives you two levels, but levels in the 3DS game are MUCH shorter than in the console version.

Oh well, figuring all the figurines I own now, figure its worth the 3DS version just for a different experience with all of my characters smilie

At least its two short levels instead of just one!

I actually thank you for making this topic - I continually forget to scan my Adventure Pack levels on the 3DS version.

I unfortunately don't have any information though; it's just a case of playing through time and again until you get it all.

Well, it's more platform oriented.

I think it's kind of longer due to how it's split into missions within each level.

Despite the fact this game has a timer this is what keeps me so excited for this version of the game (XMAS!!). I love platformers, grew up on Mario games and Galaxy 1/2 rate as two of my favorite games for the Wii.

I feel like a little kid again all excited for Christmas! smilie

^ I was really excited about the ds game as a fellow platform lover. The game is not terrible by any means but even if there is not platforming on the console versions, they are still a lot better. There are no upgrades or challenges in the ds version and hats don't do anything for your stats. You can level up but that I'd the only way to improve your character. I have gathered ever crystal in the game but overall I am a little underwhelmed by it all. It is harder though.
I would give skylanders ds a 7 out if 10 and the console games a 9.

I thought you could collect scrolls and the like in levels which gave your characters "upgrades" as such?

There are definitely less statistical tactics to the DS one, but it's a challenge, nonetheless.
