Dragon's Peak is an Adventure Pack, yes. And the next wave won't come until the holidays.

When you're about to mention the final boss, or something we didn't expect anywhere in the game.

Was at Walmart today and found Drill Sergeant. And he was only $7.96 like all the rest. So the rumors are true, Sam's Club isnt the only place. Some Walmarts might no have him though.

Also, I was able to peak at a Skylanders Strategy Guide.



The guide was pretty worthless and only worth buying for collector's purposes. Not worth $20 to me.

Skylanders deserved the better reception because I found the LOS series to be utter ****. I had no fun with the games due to the gameplay being a complete mess. At least from the looks of it, Skylanders is a far better game.

Like some Classic fans, the LOS fans need to learn to accept this game whether they like it or not.

Sure, Skylanders got good reception a little higher than the LoS, but is that something to be mad about?

On some Skylander videos, a bit in denial that Skylanders received good reception than the LoS in reviews.

It's not to be mad about that's for sure..

That guy's got it all wrong. 1. Spyro is the leader of the Skylanders. He DOES talk. Also, his name is mentioned in the battle arena and by Hugo in the first level.
2. You can't complete the game 100% with just the three Skylanders in the starter pack.

By the 100% maybe he was talking about only the main story?

It's funny how they were hyping the game up, but they're 3 weeks late when it comes to reviewing it.

I didn't find the game hard.... Except Kaos. But after beating him once, it got easier.

Players' video game skills aside, I feel that it's a lot easier when you have you characters upgraded and leveled up all the way AND have completed several of the heroic challenges. Those permanent attributes prove worth it. For this reason, I have faced Kaos 5 times with 3 different characters without swapping and have not died while beating him. Unfortunately for those who don't have many characters, the ability to upgrade your characters through heroic challenge increases exponentially with every character you get because every character unlocks a new challenge that gives upgrades to any and all characters that complete it. Some of the heroic challenges are harder than Kaos. Try to do the purple chompies challenge with a fully upgraded Sonic Boom. I dare you.

I would consider myself an average/below average player, and I find this game easy.

Either I'm better than I think I am, or you are giving yourself a tad too much credit.

Maybe it's just genre/individual game dependant for you two.

Or the fact they don't accept change. Spyro is still a hero and still a purple dragon like he was before. It's not like they changed his name or color. Heck, in his discription they mentioned he's special like the legend from TLoS if I recall correctly.

And Cynder is Cynder. According to leaked a preveiw of her discription: Malefor still has a role in her past and her past is not too far from her TLoS one, being dark and her having been rescued by Spyro.


As far as gaming goes, I'm reckless so I tend to loose sometimes.

That's the thing, Characters will always remain the same.

Who know nothing about Sparx however But I'm sure once the dragon level is released we will get a idea on his backstory

The game is still doing quite well. That's good. . . If it keeps these high ratings till next year. . . I think Spyro will be in good shape. . . hopefully.

I'm wondering if ActiVision will decide the game is good enough to return Spyro to his own series...

What would it be anyways? Would Spyro return to LoS?

Like Halo, they now have the original trilogy (Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3) and the "reclaimer" trilogy (Halo 4, Halo 5, Halo 6)

Acti wouldn't bother rebooting it if they were to just return to LoS. I'm willing to bet it will be reminiscant of the classics with a Skylander/new twist.
