No. They will make you buy the 3DS version, because Skylanders never came out on DS.

Ignitor can be bought separately like most of the other Skylanders. It's just Dark Spyro you have to worry about. I'm sure someone will sell him separately on eBay.

Mario, Luigi(slightly different) and Dr. Mario

Although all of these characters aren't exact clones, their movesets are really close to one another. Their only differences are stats.

Yeah, but those are mainly in Melee. The original had only Mario and Luigi being similar. Then again, it had only 12 characters.

He is only a palette swap with extra stats.

Depends on the person who wants him. But it's different enough to not call him a clone.

Someone just sold Dark Spyro on eBay for £28.50 before P+P - Making the total for the buyer around £30. I guess it really depends.

LSpyro:Str 75, Def 55, Spd 90, Lck 60

Legendary Spyro's gameplay is the same as normal Spyro's in both games
Dark Spyro has VERY SLIGHTLY diffrent attacks in the 3DS version and the ONLY diffrence in the other console versions is that his fire animations are purple instead of the normal fire look.

Unless you are going for the 100% collection(in which you would probs go get a 3DS anyway) or just prefer the LOOK of Dark Spyro THAT MUCH over normal or legendary, you are better off just getting legendary spyro for the better stats across the board

^That is true. Whilst Legendary is more powerful, it's still quite easy to beat the game with just Spyro, Gill Grunt and Trigger Happy.

Acctually, Ignitor is only available for the 3DS version so far. If you can find me an individual Ignitor, let me know.

I could have swore I've seen an individual Ignitor on Amazon. I must have imagined it.

I've never seen individual ignitor. I'll drool when I see it.

It might still be released. I would not be suprised to see Sonic boom and Zap in a triple pack aswell at some point. I don't think they planned to release them right away until they noticed they lacked air and water Skylanders. But I would think they would start releasing the next "wave" soon seeing as x-mas is coming up.

Might even see some other characters become singles, would be such a pain if they had released all of the characters in triple packs and singles in one go as some of the smaller stores just would not of had space on their shelves.

Ignitor is not available right NOW but he will be. It is not an exclusive, he will be in a future wave by himself. After that, people will stop to sell him for 70 bucks on eBay I hope...

I really don't think Legendary Trigger Happy requires $100 purchase, just saying.

Either way, I'm sure Ignitor will get his own release. No chance for Dark Spyro, unless they were to release a regular Spyro individual for the 3DS version owners. But that wouldn't be all too marketable, I'd imagine.
