As for areas I hope that there is a place similar to Crystal cave in YotD and the Ancient Grove in TEN.

Sparx definately NEEDS to be in the game I mean he's been with Spyro in EVERY other game so why take him out now. Doesn't make any sense to me....

He's more more of a Sidekick... besides, we don't know if he's not in the game yet.
Also DotD was going in the direction of making Cynder the main Sidekick instead of Sparx, even removing him from the final levels.

Yeah they removed Sparx. But maybe his VA has something else going on? Just because Sparx was removed doesn't mean it was supposed to happen.

No, it was supposed to happen. They've changed his voice for every LoS game and it's pretty clear that everyone phoned in their lines or did them all in one day.

Let's face it: Sparx is a healthbar. Yes, we may love him and be attached to him but he is, primarily, a healthbar. And since the developers didn't need a hit system, supposedly...

And, anyway, Sparx will probably be in the next major Spyro game.

To be quite honest, I'm not really going to miss Sparx. I always thought it was cool that he was your health bar in the old games, but he never struck me as being much of a character (except in AHT, but that's not the kind of character we need in a game for kids ). In LoS I went between hating him totally for being obnoxious and being miffed that he was completely useless even in terms of the story (seriously, what did he do outside of being token comedy relief?). So, yeah, I don't really care that he's not in Skylanders as far as we know. I'd much rather see Elora or Sheila come back over Sparx.

Yeah, he can miss at least one game as far as I'm concerned.

I think she is dead now, metaphorically speaking....
....or, if you read that one comic I read, she's literally dead, and died a terrible death.

And I doubt they would appear in a Classic remake.

Well that just killed my day. I liked Cynder, she was my favorite character aside from Spyro.

I liked her more than Spyro. In fact, she's one of my favourite fictional characters. But you know...

It's a REBOOT, Spyrocynder. That means re-imagining of Spyro's existence, and not associated with any of the previous Spyro games, including the LoS; the events from either universe never happened in Skylanders. You can't expect some of the same characters to appear in a game reboot. Even if they do, their personalities will either stay the same or they will act different. Who cares if Cynder isn't in the game?

It's clear some people do....me not included...

It's a SPYRO game. I know Cynder was the star, for all intents and purposes, of LoS but she is not the most loved and recognizable character in the franchise. She's probably not in Skylanders just like dozens of other loved characters from the series. It's okay. Calm down and come join the Elora fans, who only got to see their favorite character as a cameo once outside of her first game.

And unfortunately, some fans say Skylanders sucks because Cynder isn't in it...

Frankly, though I'll miss some of the cast from the prior games, I think this clean slate business is a brilliant idea.

I haven't read it from the start, but it's good. And I felt dead inside at what was happening to her, but she should of died quicker....I nearly got bored.

However, there was a ****ing weird tie-in picture to it...

I know the artist of Bittersweet End. The comic itself is alright, though I'm a bit bothered that we're supposed to side with the antagonists (who are thoroughly unlikable) and I didn't like the reveling in hatchling murder bits. It's an alright comic otherwise, though.

And I didn't read from the start of it, so I didn't see anything about hatchling murder....only slow, painful, *coughkindaboringcough*, Cynder death.

The only reason I clicked into it was because the art style looked cool!

It's a powerful comic, really. I didn't like the hatchling bits either, but at least it's being realistic to how this kind of event really would pan out.

The art style is my fave though. I honestly prefer this artist's drawings over all others right now.

I got a little emotional because of Cynder. I was like:

"Wow.....poor thing......I think I'm too attached to her for my own good....*plays Conker's Bad Fur Day to get happy thoughts*"

Only if you really want to see Cynder's death take even longer. I didn't really like how she just laid down in the face of her children being killed. What mother does that? D: But, mostly, I was just reading to see her die. Now I'm just curious to see how the story about her surviving son and *spoiler*'s daughter goes.

The comic starts with Cynder flying to her cave with a dead sheep for her kids. If you saw that page, you've read it from the start.

No, I didn't see that. The page I started at had her arrive at the bad guy's lair, I think. There was a male dragon there too, but it wasn't Spyro, though his name was mentioned throughout the comic.

Er...I don't think you're reading the same comic I am. I don't remember that part at all. She arrives home and there are a bunch of demons lead by Darknite in there that have just killed her kids and are holding Spyro prisoner.

I probably didn't realise it was actually her home. I started at like page 8 or 10, so I assumed it was the bad guys' lair! It looked like an evil place....then again, Cynder is a dragoness!
