The morning sun had rosen by the time Haku was awke and Ignitus found the cave he had spotted.
"Is any of this nessary? Why don't we just fly back to mainland?" Volteer suggested.
"We would have saved a lot of time if you METIONED THAT EARLIER!" Shadow snapped.
" One of us should try flying instead of all of us. I'll go first." Ignitus said and flew threw the treetops. Ignitus flew in the derition of the mainland, but a strong wind blew him back. He kept trying to fly, but no matter how hard he tried, the wind would not let him pass. A bigger gust of wind blew Ignitus back towrd the Island. He fell threw the trees and landed on top of Volteer.
"Get off!" Volteer cried.
" Not much luck I presume?" Berry said as Ignitus got off of Volteer.
"Yeah. The wind blowing from the mainland is too strong. Not even the biggest, best flyer of all couldn't fly through that. We have to wait for a day where the wind isn't so strong to get out of here." Ignitus said.
"And I heard it's very windy in this area. We migtht be stuck here a long time before we could get away." Amber said.

3 days had passed since Ignitus and his friends were stranded on the Island. Trying to swim to mainland also came up as an idea to escape, but the wind made the waves terrible, and the Island was miles and miles away from land. Ignitus knew for a fact their absense would be noticed by now.
But do they know were we lent up? Ignitus thought. Of all the places a dragon could get lost or stranded in this place, the Chain of Islands would come up as one of the last ideas.. Or even the last idea. Ignitus looked out at the sea from the small slope by the shore, which became his favrouite place to hang out in his free time. He wished he could just escape from this island and go back to the mainland, where Terrador and Cyril would be waiting. Ignitus, Volteer, Terrador and Cyril were best friends since they were hacthlings. Thye even hacthed in the same nest together.(Even though not related) Whenever there was a rumor spred around, they would investigate, together. Whenever there was an adventure waiting, they would go, together. Now they were separted by eachother from high winds and a vast sea.
Ignitus looked up at the sky to see that gray storm clouds loomed over the sky and moved rapidly in their deriction. Rain made the water rippled and thunder seemed to raor to warn all cretures of it's prersence. Just yesterday there was another thunder storm taht flooded the shallow channles between the islands. A patrol was on one of the oter islands and thretned to completley flood the island. If the patrol weren't warned in time, they would have drowned.
Oh no, I have to warn the others! Ignitus thouht and bolted toward the camp.

The Legend Of The Silver Dragon

there are 30 chapters so far.

Ignitus screeched to a halt once he reached the camp.
"What's wrong Ignitus?" Amber asked.
"Another thunderstorms coming. Everybody has to take shelter!" Ignitus exclaimed.
"But Shadow,Volteer, and Haku are still searching for food on another island!" Berry said.

Volteer jumped when lightning clapped overhead.
"We better get back o the main island!" Shadow yelled over the thunder. Haku led the way back to the channel as the rain poured over the land. When they reached the bank the channel was already flooded! The channel was already very wide then it origgnaly is.
"We have to swim through now if were going to live!" Volteer said. Volteer splashed into the water, despite his hatered of it. Then Shadow dived in and Haku last. Volteer paddled across untill a huge fish attacked Volteer! Volteer screeched as he was dragged under. Volteer squrimed free and got a good look at the ish. It wasn't a fish, it was a shark! It was the biggest shark Volteer had ever seen. It's teeth grew crooked in it's mouth and the teeth were as sharp as a steak knife. The shark lunged again but Volteer doged. He clung to it's dorsal fin and bit a chunk out. The shark shook Volteer off and bit his wing. Volteer tried to scream, but only a mufled shreik came out. Voteer tried to escape but the shark bit down even harder untill Volteer heard something snap. Volteer's wing stung with pain and he grew limp. All of the sudden the shark let go and seemed to lose intrest in Volteer. Haku had attacked the shark and left a deep scar.The shark grew wild with the scent of blood and lunged at Haku again and again, but missed every time. All the sudden a black paw grabbed Volteer and dragged him to the surface. Volteer gasped for air and hung his head helplessly.
"Come on! Were almost there!" Shadow growled and dragged him to the other side. A muffled scream came from the water. The water's color was invaded by red.
"What about Haku!?" Volteer screeched.
"There's nothing we can do for her now. Come on!" Shadow growled and kicked Volteer in the leg.
"Okay, okay." Volteer said and ran as fast as he could, his injured wing dragging across the ground.
Volteer looked back at the attack site. There were no muffled screams now, only utter slince as the shark swam away.
"Goodbye, Haku." Volteer whispered.

Cyclone?

And don't worry, Cyclone is on the oppiste team, so he's not stranded! Or do you want me to skip to the other team's perpesctive?

Volteer was breathing shallow by the time they reached camp and his ribs ached with every breath.
"Oh my ansestors, what happend?" Ignitus said.
"We were attacked by a shark. And Haku," Shadow choked. The camp all the sudden seemed to grow darker as everybody seemed to guess what happened.
"Haku what?" A familar voice said behind Volteer. Volteer turned around and gasped. There on the slope, stood Haku. Her leg had bite marks in it and was crusted with dry blood. In her teeth was a shark's dorsal fin. She dropped the fin in front of her.
"It didn't stand a chance." Haku annoced boldly.

Sun roared and paced constantly.
"Where ARE they?!" Sun screamed his fustration at the sky, as if the sky had taken the missing campers.
"Iam really worried. Where could they have gone?" Cyclone wondered.
"I keep telling you, their probaly on the island!" Cyril growled. They ahd seachred everywhere for the missing dragons, but their wasn't a clue of their presence. Cyril knew that they could be on the island, but nobody belived him.
Cyclone scoffed. "What are the odds of that?" Cyclone crowed.
"It makes sense! The night they dissaperead the cliff had colappsed. They could have fallen into the sea!" Cyril snapped.
"But they could just fly back if they wer on the island! If there on land they could be lost!" Cyclone argued.
"But-" Cyril objected.
Cyclone snorted and walked away. Cyril was so mad his face started turning red.
If they won't belive me, I have to prove it to them. Cyril thought.

wow, haku took a beating with vloteer, and for ignitus's ansestors sake why won't any one belive poor cyril.

Well, If you think hard enough, and belive you can, you lend up with an awsome story. For me, writing stories is easy. Even though it takes a while to come up with a idea.

Cyril walked along the beach. The sound of crashing waves calmed him. The setting sun glinted off a shiny object that caught Cyril's eye. He fished it out of the water. It was a shark tooth with blood coated on it. Cyril looked closer to see there was a dragon scale on it, that was white.
This is Haku's scale! Cyril relized. If they were lost on land, there was no way a shark could attack them.
They must be on the island! I was right! Cyril thought.
But even with this, will they belive me? Cyril thought. Without thinking of a possible answer, he ran back to camp.


"Sun! I found-" Before Cyril could finish his annoucment Sun inturrupted him.
"It's not important right now!" Sun said.
"But it's proof where Ignitus and the others went missing!" Cyril said. Sun snatched the shark tooth and tossed it back almost immediately.
" There's lots of dragon's with white scales, it is not proof." Sun said. Cyril was so furious he threw the shark tooth away. It landed of a peice of stone and broke into thousnds of pecices. Cyril flew away angrily. Cyril scraped the bark of a tree, pretending it was the other dragons.
"Cyril-" Cyclone said behind him.
"What do you want?" Cyril growled.
" Me and Terrador think you're right. We'll help you rescue them." Cyclone said.

"With that shark tooth, the shark's could be preventing them from escaping." Cyclone guessed.
"That can't be it! They could fly out of the shark's reach. Think about it. It is very windy here and it always blows out to sea. The wind probaly blocks their way." Cyril said.
"Of course! But then how are we going to rescue them? If we fly to the island, then were trapped." Terrador said.
Just then the water bubbled and something underneath growled.
"What was that?" Cyclone wondered. The three dragons dived into the water to investigate. Cyril couldn't belive his eyes. Pink,blue,green, and red coral twisted into bizzare shapes. All kinds of fish swam in schools and chased eachother around. Dolphins chased the fish and the fish scattered in terror. Anomnes and hidden caves shelered the fish and yellow and purple coral decorated the fish homes. A giant skelton of an acient sea monster lay on the ocean floor. But what was most amazing was a giant mountain.It had a hole in the top and orange light glowed inside.
A underwater volcano! Cyril thought in amazement. Terrador swam closer to the volcano and listened to it's growling. Finnaly the dragons surfaced and swam back onto the shore.
"The volcano said-" Terrador began.
"Whoa whoa whoa. You can talk to volcanoes!?" Cyclonne said
"What do you expect? Iam an earth dragon. Anyway, it's going to blow in 3 hours. It will send a wind tunnel high in the air. and the wind from the outside will die." Terrador said.
"Wait, if we can somehow warn our friends on the island, they can use that tunnel to escape!" Cyril said.
"But how will we infom them?" Cyclone pointed out.
"We will have to fly to the island ourselves. Terrador can warn us when it will blow then we can fly away." Cyril planned.
"Good enough for me." Terrador said as they flew to the island.

Terrador looked nervously out at the sunset. They had made it ti the island. The red team knew they were there, in fact, they were all waiting behind Terrador. Soon the volcano would errupt. Terrador heard a loud growl underneath the water's surface. Terrador stuck his paw in the water and heard massive rumbling. He stuck his wet paw in the ir and felt no wind chill his scales. All the sudden lava and rock debris expladed from the volcano.
"NOW!" Terrador said and took off into the sky.

Terrador looked behind him to see Berry,Cyclone,Volteer,Ignitus,Amber and Su was in the airhadow following him.
Terrador saw Haku still on the island, struggling to take flight.
"Keep flying toward the volcano, I'll catch up later." Terrador said to the others and landed back on the island by Haku.
"Come on Haku. It's too dangerous to stay." Terrador said.
"I-I can't." Haku panted. Then Terrador noticed Haku's injured leg. If Haku could't use her leg to jump into the air and take flight, then she just wouldn't fly.
"Come on, you're coming one way or the other." Terrador said and knocked Haku into the air.
"AHH!" Haku scrreched with suprise. Haku flapped her wings and she finnaly started to fly. Terrador flew after her and led the way gain. Now that Haku was in the air she could take care of herself. Terrador looked backward again to check if everyone was still following. Volteer fainted and splashed into the sea.
"VOLTEER!" Terrador shouted and dived into the water. They were by the coral reef again, next to the volcano.
I'll have to get out of here quick if were going to live. Terrador thought. Terrador spotted Volteer and swam over to him. He put Volteer over his shoulder and noticed his injured wing.
He can't fly. Terrador relized.
Terrador spotted an old, rusty rope and grabbed it. He tied it around Volteer's waist and grabbed the other end in his mouth. He surfaced just as the volcao erupted!

Now I can continue after that little problem.

"Fly!Fly!" Terrador mumbled through the rope. The dragons flapped their wings so hard it sounded like a choir. The volcano coughed up huge amouts of lava that covered the sea surface. Son the wind blew in a circular motion and created a wind tunnel. The wind tunnel carried the dragons higher and higher. When the wind tunnel spit them out they had reached the sky. A cloud was in the dragon's reach and it felt very fluffy. The sea seemed very small from up here, and beyond the sea there was an endless felid of trees.
"Wow." Berry breathed. Then the wind tunnel streched and carried them downwards. The wind tunnel carried them down faster then a roller coaster and all Terrador could see was a blur.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Everybody screamed. The ground seemed to rush at them faster and faster. Then the dragons collided with the ground. the dragons flipped and barrel rolled untill they finnlay stopped in a huge pile.
"Ohh, that was close." Cyclone groaned and looked up and screamed. The rope carrying Volteer had snapped and now his limp body was falling right for them! Volteer landed on the pile and everybody groaned. Terrador stood up slowly and looked up to see Sun.
"Uh oh," Terrador moaned.
"Please Sun,don't be angry! We were just-" Before Cyril could finish Sun inturrpted them.
"Iam not angry. Iam proud of you all. You have shown courage, team work and loyalty. Traits of a good dragon." Sun purred.
Everybody heaved a sigh of relif.
"And that is why I think you are ready for the next challenge. Follow me." Sun said.
4 days had passed before they were finnaly leaving their campsite and heading to the next destination. The lava had cooled on the sea's surface and has formed a rock island. Each day grass and shrubs grew slowly on the new island.
Soon trees will be growing there. Terrador thought. Every single camper stood on the shore, looking out at the new island.
"It is time we give the island a name. We will call it, Terra Island." Sun annouced. Terrador froze when he reilzed everybody was looking at him.
Sun also had turned his gaze on Terrador.
"Terrador has shown courage and planning, signs of a true leader. ANd this isn't the first time he took the role as a leader." Sun said. Terrador knewhe was talking about the night of the Pheonix Eclipse, when Ralph was chasing them through the tunnels.
" Thanks to his leadership, everybody survived the eruption and a new island was born at the same time. Terra Island." Sun finshed his speech and led the way toward the mountains.

They had rached the tree covered mountains in one day.
"Now, dragons are on top of the food chain. But in the rarest of cases, we can become the hunted. So your next challenge will be to go out into the woods, with your teammates, and survive on your own for a week." Sun said. Ignitus's heart slid into his throat and he struggled to swallow the lump.
" These survival skills you will need to learn on your own. So I cannot help you with anything, except if the worst might happen." Sun said.
"According to what I just said, the challenge starts now. BUT, you ust also learn to be catious of predators. I will lurk around in your territoy and if I catch you, then you can't return to your teammates to make it more of a ghallenge for them." Sun said and he stomped his foot to officaly start the challenge.
Ignitus felt sick. The eruption reminded him of the night of The Pheonix Eclipse, when Ralph, Malefor's brother had died.
Igntius knew that Malefor was out for revenge, and this was his perfect oppirtunity to strike.

Man, would that be the day.

The sun set long shadows agianst the trees. The sun didn't offer a lot of heat.
"Hey guys! Come look at this!" Amber called. The rest of the team followed Amber's voice untill they found her. She was standing in a sandy clearing. Tall pine trees and shrubs protected the area and a boulder covered most of a cave. A small waterfall trickled from a roof of the cave and ran thorugh the camp as a stream. A crooked pine tree leaned aganist the boulder. A narrow tunnel offered a way in and out of the clearing. A small stone cliff right by the tunnel also made a water fall, only bigger then th other one. The stream from the bigger waterfall joined with the other stream, making a V shape. Ignitus looked into the small pool at the bottom of the waterfall. Lots of small, sliver fish swam around there.
"We can camp here for the week!" Amber said proudly.
" And there's a fish supply too." Ignitus added.
"Well, we should get some rest so we can gather food for tommorw." Berry said and squeezed into the gap between the boulder and the tree. Ignitus soon followed. It was suprisinlgy warm and roomy in the cave. Lots of large stones lay in the cave with a large patch's of moss growing on them. Moss made up the cave as a carpet, really. A stone lay right next to the wall and a deep crack separted the two stones.
"There is so many cracks in here we can fit in! We can store medicne and food in these cracks!" Volteer said rapidly.
Igniuts only yaned. It had been a long day. He ciurled up on one of the stones and fell asleep.

"We've been out for to long. We have to get back." Amber said.
"Okay." Igntius said.
Amber and Ignitus were berry picking, but they got lost. Soon they found their way back and were close to the camp. Ignitus picked up his bascket of berries with his tail as a shadow whipped by.
What was that? Ignitus thought. The shadow whipped by again and Ignitus saw a pair of amber eyes watching them.
It's Sun, trying to catch us! Igntius relized in panic.
"RUN!" Ignitus warned and the dragons took of running. Ignitus looked behind him to see the dragon come out from the bushes. But it wasnt Sun, Sun had blue eyes. The dragon that was chasing them was Malefor.
