"What's so surprising?" Winterra asked. "Didn't you know that we all can turn from human to animal?"

*Thought I should mention, they're not ALL in the same room... and most of them don't know they can transform yet.

Also, yes you should, just add a few changes...*

Silvara grinned and became a cat again. "Ill pick the lock," she said. "Wait here." The cat slipped out through the hole and stuck her claws into the heavy iron lock. "Done," she hissed. "Give it a shove." With that, Silvara made her way to the next cell, freeing as many people as she could.

Pilila had hated this new life of hers, that is, until she became a griffin again. Hearing the other cages open, she called out, "Hey, don't forget about us!"

"Are things opening?" asked Fryden.

"Don't forget me" Kihei said

"Come on Ura" Ki said as he exited his cell and started helping the others exit there cell

Shadow found himself being man handled into one of the many rooms with cages.
"LET GO OF ME YOU FILTHY..." He was cut off when he was carelessly shoved into a cage.
"Next time, you better cooperate or else those wings will be gone!" A security/scientist man said harshly before leaving.
"Argh! Of all the bloody-" he heard something from another cell. When did they get more? he thought rather confused.

((To clear things up, Shadow hasn't left his dragon form and he was being experimented on))

Silvara hid as the scientists passed, and immediately flung herself onto the lock, picking it. "Give it a push," she whispered, before continuing.

"What?" Shadow questioned with a tilted head but didn't argue. He shoved the door open and jumped out, landing on three paws. He glanced towards the cat who was still picking the many locks. He would help, but those stupid science freaks blunted his claws and the sedative was still making his head spin. So Shadow decided to follow the cat.

"What are you doing?" Silvara hissed. "We're going to get caught. Can you turn back into a human at least? I can't hide a dragon!" She proceeded to pick the lock on Pilila's cell. "Push," she whispered.

The griffiness did just that, knocking down the bars with ease, "Thanks, I hate this place."

"I can't tell if I hate it, I jussst arrived. I alssso blame my amnesssia." Bimcal said with a friendly hiss as he slithered out.

"Ok, now Kihei's door, its right here" Ki said as he pointed to a door

"Please get me out" Kihei said

"Hey, we're here with dragon dude!" yelled Connor.
"Yeah, help," said Fryden.

Varedis had woken up, "hey! Let me out! Let me out!" he shouted

"They're going to hear you from the other side of town!" Winterra growled. "Pipe down!"

"I'm sorry, but I will not be changing," he replied, "however, if a guard does come back I will use my dark energy to disappear." He would never change back to a human.

Varedis look at him, "Why won't you be changing back to human?

Silvara flicked her tail in annoyance. She picked the last lock and jumped down. "There," she said. "That's the last one." she raised herself onto two paws and became human again.

Ura ran down the hallway to Silvara, still human. "Hide!" she whispered.

Varedis slid into a narrow gap and curled up.

Silvara became a cat again and hid in a feeding slot.

Ura leaped into one of the cells.

Ki slipped into the shadow realm, Kihei hid behind a wall

Pilila hid back in the cage, acting like it had been closed, and so did Bimcal, though they were ready if the person decided to try and lock it.

Commander Winterra slipped into the same cage as Philla and Bimacal. "Should I try turning back into human form?" she asked.

"I have no idea, i'll try to hide you though. They might realize you don't belong in here." Pilila spread her wings around Winterra.

"Nah, humans never realize anything," Winterra growled, forgetting that she was originally a human. "Might want to hide my crossbow, because they will notice that."

"Still hiding you." Pilila repeated.

"I agree, we may never know what will happen." Bimcal said from his spot.

"I will tell you later when we are out of this dump," Shadow answered Varedis. When Ura alerted them of incoming danger, Shadow used his dark energy to hide in the shadows of the room.

"Shadow, do you know where Kumara is?" Kihei asked in a whisper

The scientists were walking by. "I told you we should have used the tranquilizer!" one was saying. "Now look!" The other scientist pulled a device from his pocket. "No matter," he said. "This can detect any trace of their passing. Watch." the scientist pressed a button on the device, and it beeped three times. The two scientists pondered over the screen for a moment. One whirled around and shot a dart of some sort into Silvara's hiding spot.

Pilila braced herself, she didn't want to be experimented on again, so she kept on making sure that the door appeared to be shut.

"What was that sound?" asked Connor. They sat in their cell and had the door close to closed as to look like they weren't free.

Shadow appeared behind them and used his tail to knock them out. humans are so weak

Kihei went out of the shadows "Ok guys, its clear, lets get Kumara and the others and get out" He said

Ki appeared next to Shadow and petted him "Thanks buddy" He said

Pilila unfurled her wings, "Come on, let's hurry up." The griffiness reopened to cage and walked out, and Bimcal slithered behind her.

Shadow flinched from the contact and moved backwards, "don't touch me!" He growled. He then turned to Kihei and pinned him against the wall, "how do you know Kumara!?"

"We were in the same cell until about 2 days ago" Kihei said

Connor and Fryden walked out of their cell. Connor kicked the unconscious human in the face. Then they saw everybody outside of their cells.
"Ah, who are you!?" asked Connor.

"I am Pilila, a griffiness." Pilila gestured at her green-feathered body with her wings.

"And my name isss Bimcal, I don't remember what I am. I think I have amnesssia." Bimcal said as he took a wary look at the unconscious human. He wondered if being a winged serpent was normal.

"I'm Ki" Ki said to the group before opening the cell Ura was hiding in "Its ok to come out now"

"I am Connor, a human."
"And I'm Fryden, and I'm terrified!" Fryden backed up back in his cell, breathing heavily. Slowly, red wings with black borders started to erupt from his back, causing him to scream in pain. His feet slowly morphed into paws as his body grew scales and his head (and snout) grew long. He grew a red tail and finally stopped this transformation. He walked back out of the cell and looked at Connor. "Hello..."
Connor looked at his friend in terror and confusion, and when he tried to back up, he fell on his back. He started to grow a tail as his body grew scales and a snout. His arms and legs stayed their same length, but with scales and paws. He looked around. "That was, strange."

"Very well..." He said letting go of Kihei, "I thought you would've known she escaped some time ago."
He then turned to Connor, "Shadow," was his reply.

Malekai awoke, and growled, he barged out of his cage, and looked around, then asked himself, "Why am I growling?" He then realised that he was a wolf with blood-red wings, "oh," he said to himself

"Nice to meet you guys" Ki said, but he was still looking at Ura

"That's great! Maybe we'll find her after leaving this place" Kihei said "I'm Kihei by the way guys"

"I'm Catherine, also known as Commander Winterra," Commander Winterra dipped her shaggy head. "Nice to meet you all."

"We better get out of here," Shadow said in a low voice.

"Lets go then... Anybody know HOW to get out?" Kihei asked

"We could always blast through the roof..." Shadow suggested.

"True, and we could carry anyone who cannot fly" Kihei said before freezing the ends of the hallway so other scientists cannot reach them, he then froze the ceiling "Ok Shadow, now blast where I marked up there"

"Whatever," he replied with a smirk.
Shadow shot up incredibly fast and prepared a blast of darkfire. He then coated himself in his energy to prevent himself from being harmed and smashed through the ceiling, letting his energy subside.
"It's been far too long since I've used that power," he said to himself before landing back in the room. He then heard the alarms go off.
