Is there a set pattern of announcements. Aside from the toyfair announcements is there an emerging pattern.

people are saying that the family gamer are not friends with activision anymore. because they had a fight over some copyright stuff... so that is why we don't get much skylanders news from the family gamer anymore.

The second one is who's the person we haven't seen much of before? And finally, we look at who gamers want back. It's not perfect maths - we have to use our creative judgement. All the reposed characters will have new abilities. New Wow Pows, basically. We haven't talked about level cap changes yet, but of course there will be new cosmetic changes on the toy side also.


The part about "new abilities" has me curious, does that mean the the upgrade paths are going to be different also on the new reposes?

How do you come up with the idea for Swap Force?
Swap Force actually started as an original Vicarious Visions concept about how we could build on the greatness of Skylanders - playing together, building your collection, and the value of the collection. Also, what's fun from a toy standpoint: not just what's better on the video game side, but what makes for an interesting play pattern on the toy side? The toy design is actually led by Vicarious but I-Wei and Paul have a close interaction on iterating with the designs and making them home in the Skylands.

Nice to see some new articles. I think his not denying that there may be SSA character remakes (i mean like sunburn and boomer) could be viewed as confirmation. Of course, its also possible they haven't even decided (though eruptor, Stealth Elf, and maybe spyro are good bets)

You know, I am actually hoping that Blast Zone is in the starter pack because I really want to get Countdown, but if Magna Charge is in the starter pack then I would have to get a Fire core skylander so I can have 1 of each element.
