I'm sure we'll find out eventually.
Unless the top half changes the bottom half's coloration slightly.
for instance, in this pic, Magna Buckler, his belt is Magna Charge's shade of red, instead of brown: [User Posted Image] (And yes, I'm aware that's an old pic, but it came to mind).
EDIT: Doom (again, see what I did there? :P) yeah! First post on the 100th page! Whoop.

There are probably more. If you mean with Nitro Magna Charge, then I don't know, but I guess so non-3DS owners can get Free Ranger and Rattle Shake. Actually, that's pretty kind on Activision's part, throwing in the 3DS starter swappers with a variant.

This one seems more like Regular Blast Zone to me. The lighting in the scene is a dull blue, and that reflects off him. In the other pic, however, is in a bright, sunny place, and there it seems genuinely blue.

I think you're right, it probably is the stealth minigame.
Also, noticed it an another video as well, but Magna upgrades to have a gatling!
And Slobbertooth gets to shoot out underground shockwaves that appear to home in.

I know, but that's been covered and commented on by the developers in two or more other videos.
I do hope we have a lot of those segments, I like how Sonic-esque it. I can't wait to see Bash going at super speeds smilie

Look for the purple aura next to the lever and you'll find the soul gem...well only half of it. It could just be a weird, glowing coin though...
