I plan on saving 530 bucks, buying all of Wave one Swaps and Core, and just going on from there.

I plan on getting the ones I am greatly interested in, or think will be worth a lot, because I don't have much money to burn on this game. :/

Yeah, my plan is to blow 460+ on swap force day 1, then go from there

I plan on getting 4-6 Swaps (depends if I get the starter pack). enough to get every movement type and element. Then, if I have money left over, LC Grim Creeper and Spy Rise.

I plan on getting everything in the way of figures and I'm getting the Wii U version of the game (and possibly the 3DS one too if I find it on sale).

I might get the island and ship display pieces, but I'm not sure, it depends on how much they'll cost. They're somewhat large, so they might be costly.

I will be buying a 3DS and a Console starter and one of every figure released that day

My plans are :
1. buy the 3ds starter pack
2. buy all the figures that i want (the ones i don't already have as a S2/S1 and have cool moves like grim creeper)
3. buy the wii game from ebay (just the game+portal)

Might try to stall the figures this time around by buying a few at a time and will try to get the game prior to release with some figures on that day. One things for sure, if Grim Creeper is available in any form, he's going to be one of my first and 2 or 3 others as well.

1)I plan on getting some of the pre released landers since we may be getting some prior to release.

1.5)I plan on getting the starter pack for xbox.

2)I plan on getting at least 3 other skylanders that I like (e.g. Hoot Loop,Magna Charge and Star Strike or Grim Creeper)

3)I ether beg for my parents for me to get for figs or wait till Christmas to get more along with the 3ds starter pack.

My wife is a bit burned out on Skylanders now. I may be on my own for this one. Might pick up the starter pack for Xmas and then for my B-day in january, grab some of the available figs and then just pick up what I can over the next few months. I will want them all of course, but at this point, I'm not planning on going Day 1 nuts like we did with every wave for Giants (well Day 1 for us, which was Xmas when we got the game)

I'm currently saving for a Wii u, so if I don't have one buy then, I'm gonna buy 2 or 3 swappers, and wait to get the Wii u starter pack if they have a Black Friday deal. If not then probably Christmas.

Probably gonna buy the game and a Swapper or two.....

I plan on knowing more about gameplay mechanics, quality and length before going down this path. Right now it's 60% no 40% yes as I didn't really see anything in the game mindblowing, no news of forgotten 8 being reposed, and rumors that the game is only 12 chapters.

I was hoping to find out that they've actually configured the game difficulty to actually be more than re-configuring hit points.

What I'm planning to do is just buy the game, then buy as many skylanders as I can with my leftover money from my birthday.

my plans are the same as they were in giants and spyro's adventure and that is to get the 3ds starter pack and the wii u starter pack first, then get all the skylanders swap force waves as they come out

its 4 difficult levels to pick from now and when you come to moving the characters like freeze blade you will have to press the button in rhythmic manner to get his skate moves in full speed... its tons of little changes like this...

I am going to try to look into the future and pick the ones that look like they will give me a hard time finding them later (s2 slam bam) and then slowly buy the rest sooooo, 1swapper and 1new core

I'm planning to get all 16 Swaps if I can convince my mother to let me. Will open them, but keep the boxes in mint condition.

ANY variants I find in store will collect dust on my Sky-Table (Where all my boxed figures are).

Will try to get ALL reposes.

Will get the Newlanders.

Will get LightCores.

May buy the Island Display because it includes a firing Golden Dragonfire Cannon.

WILL NOT BUY ALL VARIANTS unless eBay has them for cheap.

Will get a FEW Mega Bloks sets.

The best place to go get it is Wal Mart. It may save you only 3 cents, but, so what, it's cheaper.

Holding off on the game itself till there is a really nice sale (plus hoping the Wii U drops in price by Christmas as that is the version I would like to get) plus the same for the 3DS Version (will just sell the game but keep the figures). My Wife will allow only the 16 Swap-Force characters & 16 New Skylanders (though Legendarys and Store Variants I'll get somehow) unless there is some good deals such as triple packs, adventure packs and battle packs which have the S2-3 figures in them.

Since then my Colection has grown
I have all SSA, all but S2-Drobot and LC Hex for Giants. I have a few TRUE variants (GITD Wrecking Ball and Stone Zook) and All In-Game Variants.

As you can see that post was dated Dec. 30 2012. Since then I have collected ALL Giants except for Glitter Hot Head. I guess I need to take a more recent picture to post them when asked.
My most recent additions include: LC Pop Fizz, Polar Whirlwind, Scarlet Ninjini, LC Chill, Double Trouble S2.5, S2 Spyro, S2 Wrecking Ball, Leg LC Chill, Jade Flashwing, Ninjini, Molten Hot Dog. I also have the 2 color variants of chill (Purple and Blue lips) and S2 Prism Break (Blue and Green Gem).

I'm not to sure at the moment whether I'll get this on the release day. If I do I might get the 3DS version first as it's cheaper (I also bought the 3DS version of Giants first) and get the Xbox 360 version when it comes down in price. If Fire Kraken is also available I'll buy him too.

I plan to get the game, 3DS starter, and a few more characters of my choice on day: 1. Better start saving!!

I plan on spending around $250 on the first day.

I geting the game and all new ones at day 1 mabey some prereleased remodels.

I'll be taking a look at what figures come out on release day, and picking a few of them up. Pokemon comes first and since XY come out the day before I won't be dropping $35 on that and then going back the next day for another $75 plus figures unless I magically happen into some money.

Activision really couldn't have predicted when Pokemon would drop but SSA and Giants released later in the month if I'm not mistaken....maybe they should consider moving it. I can't see myself being the only one in this position and I adamantly believe this could potentially negatively impact sales. I mean..Skylanders is big but not Pokemon big.

Hopefully this way stores may have some sort of sale or something going on the week after. 3DS Swap Force I'll definitely hold off until Black Friday like I have every year. If no stores have it on sale, I'll just wait till Christmas.

This time, I'm gonna try not to rush it. I didn't need to pick up the Legendary 3 pack or L-Bouncer on release day, but I stupidly did and blew more money than I really needed to.

^ Well, that leaves more chance for me to find rare figures!

I'm not sure about the game yet. Plans will be to pick up some figures first. Wait to see what everyone thinks and than watch for a sale at Christmas.

My plan:

1. Get SSF for Wii
2. Give Wash Buckler and Blast Zone to my Grandma to sell on eBay ( and my s1 )
3. Get Roller Brawl, Popthorn, Star Strike, Free Ranger, Fire Kraken, Stink Bomb, Hoot Loop, Magna Charge, Rattle Shake, Freeze Blade, and an Earth Swaplander.

4. I am done with Skylanders series. I'm only getting up to SSF 'cause when I'm 13 S4 will be out and I wont be able to get that.

So.... $75 + ($10 x 2) + $12 + ($15 x 8) = $227. I'll save up with my BDAY money for most of it. I'll get the rest for XMAS.

Hopefully, TRU will be running a special like they did with Giants. I want to get the game for PS3 and 3DS to get the various figures.

Just the starter pack, adventure packs and the 32 new characters. My cousin might be buying the variants, depending on how much she likes/invests time into the actual game.

Though I still don't know if I'm gonna get the 3DS version- the footage looks way too similar to Giants, and I doubt that n-Space will fix the problems that had... I have absolutely no interest in Volcanic Eruptor, so it won't be hard for me to get Free Shake and Rattle Ranger when they come out in single packs... My cousin doesn't want it at all as she reckons that n-Space will worsen all of the issues from the last game.
