I know you're all going to love this, it's time for upgrade paths again! Starting with that core character the Giant "Tree Rex", so which of his paths do you prefer to use?

Do you prefer to upgrade his charging or his laser?

You can check out Tree Rex's upgrades list to remember which upgrades are from where.

Lumbering Laserer. The 100-damage hit sells it but the other upgrades are useless.

Treefolk Charger. I just really don't find his laser that useful.

And "Don't have him"? How is it even possible to play the game and not have him? Well, I guess you could just not have the game...

Treefolk Charger. Most people who have tried Lumbering Laserer haven't tried the other path, and if they had, they would probably think that Treefolk Charger is better.

Laser is much more powerful, though the charging makes his speed better, the laser is just a monster, especially with the fast charging power shot.

Since you added a "Never Played Spyro the Dragon," to all the favorite level polls, at least have the courtesy to add an "I don't own Giants" option to the polls. Otherwise, I'll just keep voting "Don't Have Him." <.<

Lumbering Laserer. I haven't used Treefolk Charger yet but I feel the laser upgrades are better anyway.
1) Tree Rex is already very strong with his melee attacks, therefore I feel more upgrades aren't needed.
2) Tree Rex's laser attacks help a lot to defeat or weaken far away enemies from a distance, and then use your already powerful melee attacks when you get close.

Last I checked, Lumbering Laserer doesn't have an elbow drop. Treefolk Charger wins here.

I prefer the Treefolk Charger Path for Tree Rex, using the charge (35 damage), then using the Titanic Elbow Drop (56 damage), then Big Thorn Shockwave Slam (44 damage) , and then let your woodpecker do the work (16 damage) equals to a total of 151 damage! It will take longer than the Super-Charged Vaporizer though but I think Tree Rex is awesome on both paths! This will take out a lot of enemies!

laserer is better in pvp, tree rex is a beast against melee and ranged characters. the elbow drop just helps you clear chompies out of the way, and you are crap against ranged characters.
