If you have noticed that Cynder the markings on her four head are now light green blue in DOTD,
and her eyes are green so Cynder before being evil and turned black her most probable element was Wind.
That is why in DOTD she has shadow powers and related to her (shadow poisoning)

Could be a possibility. Her other powers, Fear, Poison, and Shadow are dark powers she gained when she was Malefor's servant. And Wind is the only one that's not evil or dark.

Really i thought she would of been a water dragon seeming she mostly looks blue on some TV screens for DOTD

In some games the element of wind is also being called dark powers.
So I don't think she was a "Sky" dragon.

This has bee discussed before that she couldd have been a wind Dragon... Its the only element out of all of her breaths...

Edit: Although... Now I think about it Cynders egg in ANB was a black egg...

I thought that wind was is a dark/evil power, because the sound of howling winds are a bit ominous. *shrug*

And yes, wind is a somewhat "dark" element/force because of how chilling cold it is and the sounds of wind blowing through abandoned buildings is VERY creepy.

Malefor wanted to destroy the eggs to prevent Spyro from being born. Since Spyro's a purple dragon like him, Malefor fears that when he grows up, Spyro will try and stop him using powers he can master that rivals Malefor's powers and abilities.

You can say Spyro and Cynder are the only ones who survived the raid, and the only young dragons present in the LoS trilogy.

Well, the Apes hate the dragons for an unknown reason, and they probably wanted to take pleasure in having their revenge by crushing the rest of the dragon eggs, except Cynder's under Malefor's orders.

Cynder was/is a Wind Dragon and that is fact. The reason we didn't see a Wind Guardian is probably due to the fact that the world of Legend of Spyro is so poorly developed that we know next to nothing about it.

She's a Wind dragon.

I don't really think that she is a wind dragon. Although, even if she was layed in the same egg cluster as Spyro, I guess it could be possible...

Cynder as wind dragon is most FANDOM fact in WHOLE Spyro series, if not even THE MOST FANDOM FACT OWERALL. Even more fandom than: Malefor is not mindwiped manic, Malefor saved the hatchlings, TLOS is STD prequell, ETC....

It's not a fact until the game developers confirm it.

I think she is a shadow dragon. Why, because Cynder is BLACK and so is shadow. Don't think she is black, then why was her egg BLACK then? Wind is WHITE. Is Cynder white? NO. She is the exsact operset to white. And in TLOS, dragons seem to have the elements baised on there colour. Eg: Ignitus is orange/red and his element is fire and fire is orange/red. Volteer is yellow and his element is electrisity wich is also yellow. So it makes sence for shadow to be Cynder's true element. If you are saying that wind is Cynder's element, then that must mean that you also think that a blue dragon has the fire element.

How do you know that she is a sky dragon? I don't see anything that make her looks like a sky dragon.

All I can see is that they lightened things up because HDTV is to bright and unable to display deep blacks and dark hues.

Seriously, they call her a black dragon in the game. She's still black. Her egg was black, and her colors will probably darken the older she gets anyway.

Malefor is not kind at all. He doesn't care about the dragons and he probably enjoys killing them. He is evil so of course he would kill anyone, even his own kind. And he probably will never follow the rules ether, knowing that he has lots off power, he would think he could do anything.
