What is cynder own element before he corrupted by malefor?
I think it is wind but cynder egg was dark so it coul be different.

i thought shadow but i think wind might be it.......

It's supossed that Cynder, as a "normal" dragon could use only one element. She masters shadow, wind, fear and poison because of her exposure to the darkness. However, it is unknown what was her original element, but it appears it was neither of the four she handles currently.

Well,in ANB she used FIRE,and thats kind of odd,with her new elements I mean.So I dont know really.Maybe Shadow :l ?

Cynder is a bit bird- like.
Look at her mouth (or nose). It looks like a birdbeak, so she´s probably a Wind Dragon!
But I don´t know.

I agree with the wind theory, but I though poison, fear, shadow and wind were really unique elements (like Ignitus said) only possible through darkness.

I would say shadow, 'cuz she's black and dark, and... shadow-like!
And i like shadow the best, so i would prefer her real element to be shadow!

Wind. That's the least threatening of her elements, and most like the other dragons.

Easy answer: of Cynder's four powers, wind is the only thing that is actually an element. Also, it is confirmed as an element in TEN. Ergo, Cynder is naturally a wind dragon. Her dark-colored egg always made me think of storm clouds, so it fits.

Normal dragons, in EVERY culture and not just this game series, breathes fire naturally and/or ice. I assume she would breathe fire or ice.

I thought she was originally a fire dragon, because she was breathing fire in her large form in ANB...but then she got corrupted or whatever so her powers are different. Reasonable enough; after all, it wouldn't be fair to give player 1 (Spyro) four powers and player 2 (Cynder) one. xD

Also kind of irrelevant, but: does it bother anyone else that Cynder's fury is purple? Because both dragons activate fury at the same time, Cynder's winds up being purple, and it bothers me. DX

It's actually more a maroon. Her swipes are a reddish purple if you look closely in Fury Mode. My guess is that she gained that Fury power as another gift from the Dark Master when she was corrupted. Just like her other four elements.

In ANB that Fire breath she used is also in DotD. They just gave it a new look. See if you can find it.

Oh, no, I meant the actual Fury itself, not her unlockable Fury-on-command-breath. When she activates the fury, it's purple. Yeah, her on-command fury is a reddish colour, you're right.

But that was actual fire! It wasnt black....

It was kinda different than normally fire.

The developers just made it look cooler for DOTD.
If they used the fire from ANB it would look like Cynder stole one of Spyro's elements.

As Razz said, it was definitely wind. Wind IS the only element Cynder has that was mentioned before DotD, other then shadow but that was obviously from the Malefor. Isn't she also more agile in the air?

Also, the fire she had in ANB was from the dark master, it's also the alternative Shadow element, they just changed it a bit for DotD.

I believe it was when they were saying the elements Malefor mastered. I'd get the cut scene but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
