It's kind of difficult, but once you figure out how some tools work, it's easy.
If you are just gonna do recolors, take the tool that looks like a lasso, and use it to outline a part of the photo. Then go to Adjustment. Here you can select "Hue & Saturation", "Color Balance", and "Color Vibrance". Color Balance is where you modify colors. Hue and Saturation is where you modify the hue and saturation. Color Vibrance is where you modify the vibrance of the colors.
In the Edit tab, you can select Undo and Redo. Use these to fix mistakes.
I would recommend starting with simple recolors, such as Legendary, Jade, and Dark.

Doesn't Legendary require everything to change color, even skin? However, for prettiness purposes, I'd have the guns golden at least if the rest stays that way.

It's nice, though I'd have the orange a bit more muted and closer to yellow. It's looking like fire or dried grass instead.

That's why I haven't made one for her yet, (and Hood Sickle) because changing black or white is more complicated than a simple brush stroke. I really prefer the green barbarella and the rainbow crystal is an awesome idea especially for the light element, just to give it a little more magic that I think it looses sometime in the pure white colour scheme. --- SA & Giants are the best skylanders games. I miss the old style.
