I apologize if I interpreted the rules too narrowly. I merely thought to alert people, who might care, to something they can pursue on a different site. I in no way profit from this auction (in fact, I donated the items) other than indirectly through the continued existence of the school.

Thanks for going relatively easy on me in any event.

I believe dark52 is paying for any shipping. smilie

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed.

From the way they are worded no. It looks like you either pick it up for free or you pay for the shipping.

Have an extra boomer and punch pop fizz that are opened and a darklight crypt that is still sealed for trade.

Because you graciously accepted my initial post, if anybody from this thread claims an item, I will pay the shipping.

Crazy thought - but if you just had the team autograph some regular figures and put them up for sale, you could donate a good chunk of items that would probably easily get $25+ each. Guessing you could source the figures at a discount. smilie

While I'm sure some folks are crazy for the chance to spend $300 on Snowlderdash, some of us would be happy to throw $20-$30 on something a little less rare, but just as neat. smilie

That was my initial plan, but it was too overwhelming for the people running the auction.

That's a shame. I don't really have much interest in chase figures, but autographed memorabilia? Sure, I'm in. smilie

Anyhow, best of luck with the auctions smilie

I don't usually go for chase variants but went ahead and bid since it was for a good cause... Did anyone else bid? It looks like the same person ended up winning every auction. I hope it was at least a collector and not someone trying to resell them.

Whether or not the items or signed or rare or not, that isn't the point. The point is, the man is doing a good deed, and in turn Dark is allowing it. This is what the world needs. More people who think with a charitable nature. I applaud you Every Burger. I wish you good luck.

Indeed, I think it is great they are doing this. A great idea for a charity auction! I'm actually surprised Activision hasn't done more of this, they have lots of really rare figures they could pull out, have the team sign them then put up for auction for some of the great charities, Child's Play comes to mind. They have some highly desired figures fans would pay a ton for the opportunity to buy, and it wouldn't cost them much at all - and get them a lot of goodwill points. A few years back an Activision/Blizzard employee put up a really, really awesome statue of Thrall and it was a big hit - so big one of the founders of it won the auction with the highest bid - then put it back up for auction a couple years later.

I can assure you they will not be resold. They will be added to a very happy little boy's collection smilie As it turned out the people running the auction had taped flocked stump smash to voodood and when they tried to separate them for shipping some of both packages got ripped, so as compensation they are sending us a second Snowderdash. Just have to wait for them to get to Canada now smilie
