Swap Force Portal compatibility [CLOSED]

Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone knows which portals are compatible with what systems?

I bought the PS3 version of Swap Force at launch, but we ended up buying a Wii U as a family gift at Christmas.

I am wondering if I can buy a Wii U copy of just the game disc (which is usually 20-30ish on eBay) and use my PS3 Swap Force portal with it.

eBay leads me to believe that Wii/Wii U/PS3/PS4 Portals are all cross platform, but I'm wondering if anyone here knows for sure.

This is certainly the place to ask!

The Wii/Wii U portals are compatible with PS3 and vice vera so you shouldn't have a problem going from PS3 portal to Wii U game.

Xbox 360 is the only console that needs a 360 portal, as Microsoft locked USB devices from working correctly unless special licensed hardware is present in the USB plug.

Not sure about Xbox One and PS4.

To add on to Dahvoo's answer, I read the Xbox One portal will only work on the One, and PS4 is interchangeable with PS3, Wii, and Wii U.
