Doom Stone Soul Gem Glitch? [CLOSED]

I was replaying the level with Softpaw in it and I had found Doom Stone's soul gem. Though when I went in front of it, I couldn't get it. It took an overall 10 minutes to be able to get it. Is anyone else having this same issue?

i think you just have to jump. at least that's what i did and it worked on the first try
