Double Trouble by himself can't hit any of the barrels in the challenge for me to get the key so i can get to the next area to continue the HC have you guys any good advice to get through this :S

I will have to check that one out . I am sure old DT can zap the barrels with his short range lightning attack .

do you mean the Eldritch Beam or do you mean his Z attack i'm playing on the Wii Version cause i know the Eldritch Beam won't target them

Well i just passed that heroic challenge with Double Trouble . His eldritch beam can destroy barrels but it is difficult to target .

Use his magic bomb and destroy several barrels at once .
As always having boots of speed toy really helps your slow poke skylanders .
If the constructs take out chompies nearby barrels , the barrels are destroyed too .

Thank you very much i've been reluctant to upgrade my figures as some upgrades can make some HCs alot harder then they need to be

Well you just have to keep playing these HC,s and get familiar with the territory . As you start memorizing the level , it gets easier . You know where to go or take short cuts.

Most unwanted upgrades that get me into trouble with HC are the splash damage ones . Most welcome upgrades are the speed upgrades .

Do you have boots of speed from dragons peak ? Its very very very helpful for HC .

Speed bonus hats are also a must .

I think my most troublesome challenge was kill green chompies but save the purple ones . Yes a skylander with no upgrades had the best chance of beating it .

My Dragons Peaks was pretty much stuck behind chirstmas backlog and i had to call UPS recently to see what was going on so hopefully they'll finally get here but i believe i got alot of speed hats but i haven't had a problem with slow characters just yet but i believe i will soon

Here is a tip for Double Troubles heroic (only on the Wii version) use your anvil rain item (if you have it) it will only hit trolls if you have a fast enough character you can kill every troll with the anvil rain
