Someome else noticed that the most path upgrades are a waste.

EVERY top and bottom half has the same path upgrade system: the first upgrade gives you a new abbility and the second makes it stronger. Not only the Swappers.....take a look at Riptide. Each of the paths ads a "bonus attack" when you throw the fish....the second makes it stronger and the third gives you a charge attack..........they were so lazy this time .They could have added useful upgrades.

Yeah that is true.
I think all the flying upgrades suck too. They could have made a new attack instead.

Double Trouble and Stump Smash cannot swim in water and gain health in water so instead they gain speed and health in water power zones.

Yeah the armor should still be there but the colour change should be optional.

Many of the upgrades feel "cheap" for them. Increased armor, increasing critical hit %, etc are just modifiers to existing features...makes it easy for them to code and present.

OTOH, this has been prevalent throughout the entire history of the figures...just seems very noticeable now. I take that as "getting harder to come up with original ideas". Which after several hundred....I would think so.

No upgrade purchase is unnecessary though if you want the ALL MAXED OUT quest.

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed.

Agreed. There comes a point when you are just lost for ideas. You can only modify a melee punch in so many ways. Same goes with most range attacks. I think there is a good mix between most of the characters. Sure, itt would be nice to see more creativeness within the upgrades; however, the game is STILL FUN!

That's what is most important I think. The formula still needs to be tweaked and I would like for them to make a couple of more interesting twists...but this isn't COD by a long shot creativity wise.

I made the mistake of buying COD for my PS4. I am regretting it to the max.

I can't fathom buying a game just for the online capabilities because the campaign is so lame...and then only to find out that others are online using hacks and getting cheap kills and Acti won't fix it.

Sounds like a great game roflmao.

I dont mean unnecessary like useless.......I meant that they could come up with better upgrades. Why making an upgrade, that makes the previous one stronger? Just make the new abbility doing a bit more damage and the second one could be another abbility for the bottom/top half.
