What's your favourite swap combination? I like Fire Loop. (Fire Kraken + Hoot Loop)

I dont have a favorite, I like to use certain combinations because I think they work well. Here's why:

Blast Drilla (Fire Breath makes turrets shot fiery coconuts/bananas)
Fire Charge (His staff attacks could use the speed)
Hoot Buckler (Down Tentacoolest, he becomes both Ranged and Melee)
Free Shift (Teleport is useful for his Gale Slash attack)
Magna Loop (Teleporting works well with his ranged attacks)
Night Kraken (The bounce attacks help his punching power)
Grilla Ranger (Spin enemies right into his drill power)
Wash Zone (First combo I used, and I got really used to it.)

Free Kracken is beyond fun to play as.

Freeze Bomb for looks. (not makeable yet)
Magna Bomb for attacks so far. (or Magna Charge)

Blast Rise. He looks epic and is very strong....set up a fire wall and spam your lasers after slaming on the floor.

I really like Rattle Drilla. Deputy Snake from Rattle top, Coconut turret from Grilla bottom, and Rattle's Snake Venom is deadly. This is a really good setup against a lot of enemies. I used it a lot in the arena.

I call it the Triple Entente.

Magna Shift and Fire Rise

For role playing purposes i like Spy Rise's top. Goes well with any Swap's bottom. We imagine him like a superspy with gadgets for any situation. Need to fly? Just use Jet. Need to go undetected? Use Bomb. Need some drones/minions? Use Rouser.

Wow, based on my experience that is not one I would have expected.

Not a huge Free Ranger fan and much prefer the top half of Fire Kraken.

With Rattle Shake, long range shooting, plus snake turrets which can be tossed a long way, his tail can fling bones, and his bounce can do damage.

With Grilla Drilla, awesome punch attack, turrets, monkeys to damage the opponent who doesn't want to melee.


Personally, I love taking an awesome melee top (like Grilla or Fire and combining with Shift or Loop)
Also think that Buckler is a great bottom to pair with a long-ranged top.

I will have to try Grilla with another bottom. I cannot quite get the hang of Grilla's punch attack. It does a lot of damage, but it's just slow. I always get mauled by enemies while playing his top. I NEED STRATEGY. #buttonmasher

fire shift and rattle shift are absolutely broken

/ is OP.

Wash shift... He is good in my opinion.

Spy Shift is extremely overpowered

So, it looks like everyone loves Shift bottom.

What's so special? I don't have him.

One of his paths allows him to resurrect himself 2 times.

That is sweet. I likey.

Blast drilla

Aside from Shift, Rise is also a good bottom. Gives anyone an escape move that is also an offense.

I tried this combo out today. I am starting to like Blast top so much. I reminds me of BOOOOOMER!

Blast Drilla is awesome, I've been running that for a long time now. I finally got a little bit of time with the Wave 3 Swaps and see some good ideas forming.

Any hard hitting Melee top + 'Bomb' bottom
Rattle Bomb (don't get hit strategy)
Rattle Riser (status and damage)
Grilla Rouser (Monkeys & Golems)
Rubble Drilla (cover fire for heavy hitter)

Really loving Rattle Rouser. The Deputy Snake causes havoc while I do the tunnel drill of ultimate evil tunneling doom...thing.

Fire rise I think..

MAGNA BUCKLER.

you pick them up. you slam one down. you use the tentacle attacks. you use the gun. rinse and repeat.

I don't like swapping.

Rattle Drilla. I love having 3 powerful turrets, the thorn shield on the Drilla turrets and the grenade nature of Rattle's turret...all with me sitting back and slinging poison shots and snakes It is a great way to take on survival challenges, cover one half of the map with turrets and the other with your own attacks. I take the Deputy path for the Rattle top and the Coconut bomb path for the Drilla. May try it out with the Banana minigun sometime soon to see if the damage output is similar.
