I tried Stink Rouser when I started playing today because i liked the idea of the combo. Anywho I was playing Angry Angry Plants and while hitting the B button to go under ground to get my little minions to pop up I stayed underground and never came back up. I have made this happen twice and I have left it up for at least 10 minutes and Stink Rouser never comes back up. Nice feature.

Yup, I assume that's why they waited so long to release him. You'll need to take the character off the portal.

It happens with any Rouser SWAP.

Darn...no wonder people don't play him much...

Does this glitch only happen in this arena?

Oh man I hope this isn't happening all the time. If that's the case his bottom half is useless. Crap my wife and kid are hogging the t.v. I can't even test this out. I really like Rubble Rouser too.

Does it happen on all versions/consoles?

I always use Rattle Rouser and ive never got this...

I've actually noticed with a few characters a similar glitch...

Most often in PVP(especially on Rampart Ruins)...

Sometimes Sprocket is completely stuck in the "turret building" animation and can never get out of it, and I think the same can happen to Chill while she tries to summon ice walls

It's really annoying and has made me stop using Sprocket altogether because sometimes she gets killed just because this glitch(as if it weren't already difficult enough to set up the turret and get good use from it in SF, now this glitch complicates things too grumblegrumblegrumble).

I had mine stuck too, but I don't think I had the upgrades....in my case I think it was picking a location that had an object above ground and for some reason couldn't come back up through that object.

Alright I finally got to try this. I'm on PS3 and I first tried this with Blast Rouser. No problems while digging almost the entire time in Angry Angry Plants. I then tried Stink Rouser. The first dig was fine but the second dig I got stuck. I took him off the portal and put him back on. It worked flawlessly after that, and I was digging most of the time. I do have the digging path on the Rouser half. So far it appears to be a problem with Stink as the top half. I will try more combos later and report back.

Update:
Grilla, Wash, Fire and Spy all work fine and without issue.

Update Round Two:
Magna, Free, Hoot and Rattle also work without issue. Interesting note for Rattle and Magna. When Magna drills down his magnetized target still says floating in air and is ready to use when you come back up. Rattle is great to use because his Turret/Deputy dude still does damage while your drilling. It appears to just be an initial problem with Stink but is easily corrected.
