Upgrade him and find out for yourself on the dummies. I have questions all the time like this and usually when I'm done buying them I'll head over and try it out. Keep in mind that charms, hats and legendary treasures can also impact this.

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed. |

Well I've seen videos where the cymbals do only 34 damage, but the windup punch does a crazy 120 damage. I personally am gonna go with the Winder path cause keep in mind that the cymbals you have to get up close and personal, while the windup punch you can be a little farther back to use on enemies to use it.

Man, Wind Up is an awesome, unique character. Anyone else think having to wind yourself up periodically for attacks and it makes you walk faster is really cool? And if you over-wind it makes you freak out. He could have been so generic, too.

i asked this so i don't have to reset him many times. i have bought him yesterday and both looks cool, so i don't which one should i chose. my impression is that the cymbal attack deals low damage in a large area (good for story or arena) while the punch deals a lot of damage to a single character (good for pvp). if this is true, i'll go with the punch

I can confirm that the Windup Punch does 120 damage (before critical hits and elemental bonuses)
