How does one get the star "No damage taken" on the final boss fight. I can get to the part where tries to kill you with his foot without taking damage, but when he throws you in his mouth, the 2nd and 3rd gear golem usually get me (It's even worse not getting killed w/ the air AND tech golem attacking you at the same time). The skylanders I am using are S2 Flameslinger lvl 16 (top path), S1 Stealth elf lvl 16 (blade path), S2 Spyro lvl 14 (ram path), and S2 Double Trouble (bomb path).
Could you please help me?

Terrafin didn't really help. After he uses his wow pow 3-4 times, he doesn't go after ground. Is there any non-physical character I could use?

I used Bumble Blast because you don't have to look at the enemies to do dmg against them. Just use honey first and run away from the golems, shoot bees while running. Give him a speed hat. It worked for me, first try in this part of the fight. The bee backpack helps and you should choose his upper path to max bee dmg.

I have been trying with Spy Rise as when he goes in the air and he can't be hurt.
I was so close at the end but when I went in the cannon he hurt me somehow.

I don't think there's a secret technique, it's just skills. I succeeded with S2 Flameslinger, Top path. I switched to Terrafin during the final part to make sure I don't get touched by the fire.

The fire part is the hardest.

Another tip if you're having trouble is just to change the game difficulty to Easy. You'll still get all 3 stars, plus you'll be able to chew through the golems a lot quicker if your characters are upgraded enough.

Difficulty doesn't affect if they do damage or not does it? Or does it affect their AI?

I did it with a few charcters took me a while though, as soon as that gear golem spawned I'd unload on it with my two light cores >
