His obsessive fans just can't come to terms with reality, and accept that he's a horrible person. When he does something like calling a fan a "beached whale", they'll cover for him in any way possible. Especially on social medias. "He was sick, he didn't know what he was saying!" "It was hot out, the heat had just gotten to his head!" "He didn't call her a beached whale, she just heard it wrong!" "Where he's from, beached whale is probably the best compliment you can get!" The excuses get more and more ridiculous, to the point where they make no sense. It's disgusting.
