So far out off all the swap force characters I've tried my favorite is Free Ranger, though I hate his puns and voice I love his powers and ability. Guys! Tell me your favorite characters in swap force!

I am gonna make a list.

1. Fire Kraken
2. Wash Buckler
3. Boom Jet
4. Night shift
5. Grilla Drilla
6. Free Ranger
7. Magna Charge
8. Blast Zone
9. Rattle Shake
10. Hoot Loop

Dark Blast Zone, he is the only one who I've been able to beat legendary Night Shift with and I've gotten so good with him I can beat nightmare mode lvls only with him.

Night Ranger helped me beat the "no damage" arena challenge in swap force.

That tornado is just too good <3

Free Ranger is definately the most useful overall. As far as i know hes the only one of the Swapforce or other skylanders who can interupt shielded enemies. Anytime i was getting my butt whipped in Nightmare i could always get through it with him. Between the whirlwinds and the shocking ability enemies are pretty much helpless, add that to his high damage output and like i say hes solid overall.

I agree that Free Ranger kicks booty. Wash Buckler is also excellent.

I just got Hoot Loop but so far I've not done much with him, trying to max out my older Skylanders.

I shall give it a try

Best combo thus far is hands-down, Rattle Ranger. Use Free Ranger's whirlwind with Rattle Shake's poisonous snake turrets to slow and kill enemies.

It sounds like people are big on Free Ranger's "bottom half" for the tornado attack.
I think, personally, that his "top half" is awesome. Using the long-range stun laser attack to paralyze spell-punks and gunner-types, while slashing the close-range monsters with the melee attacks .... maybe that just suits my play-style, I dunno; I just find that to be awesome.

If i remember right this is only after they finish thier attack and the shield disapears? Then you can grab and throw them with Magna Charge? Where Free Ranger you can break their shield off the bat.

Has anyone beat the last Solo Arena on Nightmare without dying with anyone? That means not getting hit once.

Not yet but I'm trying as hard as I can! Those ice shards keep hitting me at the last second!

Yeah that is where I am going with it. It seems only characters that can dodge fast have a chance.

Yes i have.

The best combo i have found is Washbuckler top with Free ranger bottom. Use the bubble gun to keep everything trapped, and the cyclone spin to knock out shielded characters. But its really going to depend on your play style. Magna charge top with Free ranger bottom is good also. But hands down you always want Free ranger bottom to wipe out everything that gets too close.

The biggest thing you have to watch out for are the Gazer cyclops, they can blast you from all the way across the screen without you realizing they are even shooting at you.
