I try to get my point across but most of the people I get in arguments with never see beyond their own perspective so I just give up since it's hopeless anyway

If it's more than 2 people, I'd run away due to being frightened, and if it were less, I'd run off because arguments tend to have people close to each other and I just don't like that.

I normally don't get in this. When I do though, I tend to keep going. If I notice they keep talking nonsense, ignoring what I say that proves my point, I just tend to let it go.

If you know you are correct it doesn't matter how many people oppose your idea. If they don't see it how it is, it's their loss. I'll try to explain my case to them to the best of my abilities.

But here's the deal.

"To know" means that you gotta be able to prove youself. If I can't do that or aren't sure if I was correct if the first place, I wouldn't have started the whole argument.

I actually tend to expand the argument and take all the historical factors of the phenomenon that is argued about and just discombobulate my arguing fellow. Like when you are having an argument about various political matters etc. I just take the knowledge about histories etc. on the table and cause huge confusion which ends up in a loss-loss-situation for both of the arguing parties.

Just shrug and leave the conversation or shift it something else. Unless someone shows me something definitive proving that I'm wrong. Most arguments I seem to witness are about subjective topics and matters or opinion. So no one's "right" to begin with. It's a matter of opinions possibly getting disrespected. <.<;

This very much. I want to say my opinion, but once I notice it's developing into an argument, I back off and keep cool. No point in getting agitated, really.

another thing that works well is if you are arguing against two people then force them to wear potara earrings so they fuse and you are no longer outnumbered
