Dark Portal [CLOSED]

Does anyone know if the portal that came out with the Swap Force dark edition for 360 will work with an Xbox One? I would test it myself, but alas, I do not have the One yet.

I'm curious to know if there is a difference in the portals or if I will need one portal for each respective system.

I think the portal will but you will need the new Xbox one starter version of the game anyway and it comes with the portal.

I can test this tonight if someone else doesn't. Haven't fired up Swap Force for Xbox One yet (go Dead Rising 3!) but I'll try it out with the 360 dark portal.

I'm curious because I bought the dark edition for 360, and the standard starter for the One. I know we'll pick up a One in the future and I want to play Swap Force on it instead of 360. However, I'm not sure if I can try to get a little money back by selling the 360 version with the portal that came out of the regular starter pack.

I'd like to hold on to the dark portal since it's "exclusive". I haven't opened any of the packaging yet so I wasn't sure if it was compatible, plus with no Xbox One yet I can't really test on my own. I appreciate the help!

If I end up having to keep all of it that is okay as well, just trying to figure out what my options were.

The dark edition portal isnt any different is it? I havnt compared them side to side, but they look the same to me.

They are nothing different and I remember seeing a video on the portal NOT compatable with the ONE. It was from MALICEDOLL79.

I can say with 100% certainty that the PS3 portal works on the PS4, as I am currently using it, but I have no idea about the Xbox one.

For some reason I was thinking the portal that came with the dark edition was special in some way. Apparently I was mistaken. In that case it makes my decision really easy. Hopefully somebody out there will want a 360 version of the game with portal and sans figures. :/

If not I'll just have extras, I guess.

I seriously doubt it - given that the Xbox 360 portal doesn't work on any of Wii/PS3/Wii U, and the Xbox One isn't backwards compatible with accessories.
