So ive never played skylanders, i will get it for the xbox one when i get my xbox one. i have got a 3 figures from 2nd hand stores . a giant and a standard skylander, then today i got Roller brawl , not because i like the way she looks, but she was the only "Swap Force" skylander in store.
but you cant seem to take her apart to swap her torso , Whats that all about? in the video i saw you can change the swap force figures torso and legs.....
or am i wrong, is it only ingame?

LOL!!! Sorry, but only some characters you can do that with, the small ones that don't say swap tops and bottoms, you cannot swap. Only the big ones that look like you can swap them well be able to swap with one another.

well that was abit sly of the store, because theres no boxes and it had a sticker saying "Swap force Character" , pretty gutted with that really , the swappies are so valuable , if you have 3 and get 1 more, thats a extra 7 or something crazy. thanks for the reply though

It is a Swap Force character in the context that it was introduced for the Swap Force game, unfortunately.

When you say "no boxes" are you saying that the figurine is unpackaged?

You can tell if it's swap force if they have a ability token on there base, it's like a golden hexagon with a symbol for the power on it.

When you can swap them, the packaging tells you. For instance:





Do you see? The black and white logo at the front? Plus, there's a SWAP wheel at the top left corner. What you saw on Roller Brawl was the logo of the game, Skylanders SWAP Force.

He said they didn't have packaging though and he was at a 2nd hand store

Spend 10 minutes and educate yourself on which figures swap and which ones don't.

Here is a link to all the figures sorted by their categories. It has the swappers in a separate list to core skylanders.
