My lovely husband "thinks" he read somewhere today that the next wave will be released on the 15th, but can't remember where...grrrrr. Anybody else hear this?

I heard the 13th. . .

Fact is, no one knows. Rest assured this place is the best place to monitor when it is in fact available. I will say however that wide distribution won't be until next year, so the first drop off will be a "blink and you'll miss it" type of event.

It all depends where you live.

As US mostly always gets the characters first.

There have been several rumors that are completely unsubstantiated floating around about December 15th release dates for "Wave 3". None of it amounts to anything more than hearsay at this point.

We've received some more reliable information that "Wave 3" characters might be available in some USA retail stores during the last few days prior to Christmas Day, with a larger release planned for the week between Christmas Day and New Years Day. More than likely, "Wave 3" items won't be widely available until sometime in January 2014.

So, I'll try my best to check the stores on both those dates and post back what I find, unless someone has already beaten me to it!

Please consider that unless they have a memo, the employees aren't likely to know when they'll get to their store. There doesn't seem to be a way to check if ___ item is in ____ shipment. They'll probably only know when they open them.

And I really honestly thought said dates were for when Jolly Bumble Blast would appear in some stores? Though he's been found already in some places. Feel free to look of course. It's always nice to check these things, but it's been said by rather reliable sources here that there won't be an actual new wave of Skylanders till after xmas. Still, you might find a chase varient, which wouldn't be bad, right?

Our only hope is if we can get that email very soon. The one that tells us they will be in the next day like with and and I do hope it happens soon while not on a day that it's raining or snowing.

According to the District Manager of the Gamestops around here, Dec 7th is the day for Jolly. However, I won't be too disappointed if it's pushed back a week. Ok, maybe I will, if for nothing else that's one more week to wait.

I'm of the mindset that I don't mind going to check. Heck, I used to go check on 'giants' almost daily till I started getting them pulled aside for me. It's the 24 hour stores where I only 'know' of a few people who 'might' be willing to 'check in the back' and not just look on the shelf and say "nope we don't have them". Honestly, I have no more info about wave 3, or more than likely, less than anyone here as to when it will hit the stores. However, Going to check is kind of like going on a 'scavenger hunt' for me. lol So I don't mind, and if I can help one person out by posting something I know, then that's all the better! That's one less 'Lander that's not in a scalpers hands!
