I used Bumble Blast (in Kaos' mouth) and pop thorn and I think it wasn't to hard (at least on "hard", didn't try it in nightmare mode yet but it should just take a bit longer).

It's pretty hard on Nightmare, but I think that Motherly Mayhem is tougher.

Motherly Mayhem is basically evilized enemies and a gigantic greeble. Oh and you just have to take your skylanders off the portal sometimes, and get her to hit herself.

But when Bubba Greebs throws in a ton of other Greebles, it's tough to not get cornered by the Spinners or get hit by bombs.

And that's why they made Terrafin!

Terrafin's the best skylander for avoiding things.

He has always been useful in final boss battles.

So far, I've only attempted the no damage star on Glumshanks. I'll have to give this a try when I get to the end of the game, but I don't see it being very easy for me. For some reason or another, my Skylanders really enjoy getting punched in the face at least once. I think it helps get them psyched up or something, but is very counter productive to any of the "no damage" goals.

Only got it a Glumshanks as well, but I didn't try yet on the others. On Kaos I have a hard time with my timing, when trying to jump over the beams he makes.

I had no problems on Kaos' mom, but I'm still working on Mesmerelda and Kaos.

I can make it all the way to the last segment without taking damage. Once he starts shooting fire, though, I can't avoid it; he drives me back and then drives me back. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Mesmeralda has been my only real problem, I seem to keep getting hit when trying to dodge with Teleport type Swap Force Characters.

Yeah. I tried to do Mesmerelda with Night Shift up until recently. I finally beat her, no damage, tonight thanks to I-Brawler's advice to use Terrafin. I had never really explored the character before. I would simply count to 7 1/2 while under to make sure that the timing of my surfacing was good. Thanks I-Brawler.

Edit: I was able to no-damage Kaos, as well. I never thought I'd be able to three star those two bosses. Thanks again. This thread was a great help.

I can recommend Pop Thorn with his soul gem and a speed hat. He is very fast and small which really helps in the Mesmeralda Fight. If someone has problems with the robo bombs at the end, just shoot them from distance, once hit they explode after a few seconds.
Stay near the camera while dancing, it's easier to see your exact position. Remember to use some magic items if you like to hit Mesmeralda in the last part of the fight, the blades and robo bombs may block your way.

But yeah, terrafin may be the easier way smilie .

This is one of those instances where a Series 2 Terrafin is possibly better than a Series 3 Knock Out Terrafin.
