anyone else notice previous characters are slower in swap force like slam bam and wham shell a lot slower that they were in giants.

Yes have noticed its quite annoying when your killing enemies

Also some new ones are slow like Bumble Blast.

Yeah but that's his normal speed cause there is no other game for BB to compare it with.

yeah the older characters have been dumbed down yet again.. it was like this with ssa and sg too. dont they get it now that people want to have the stats and abilities, they have used hours on to build up, be in the newer game???.. only reason i can think of why they do this, is so the older figures you have maxed out, dont get better than the new ones. its activisions scheme to make you buy the new figurines, that will of course be faster and more powerful.

SG didn't have much of a dumbing down though,the older characters had attempts of tweaking or nerfing and the devs were apparently trying to make the game more balanced.In SF,it's using the new characters or getting annoyed at how the old ones got slower in just about anything,if the HC boost removal wasn't bad enough.

Pretty much this. In Giants, it felt like a 'balancing'. I didn't play SSA until I was 1/4 through Giants, and I went back and forth consistently (I preferred SSA, wife preferred SG)...and the differences weren't even real noticeable outside of like Ghost Roaster who I didn't get until I had pretty much beat up both games.

In this game though? They might as well of said the old characters weren't compatible.

Are old characters like Stealth Elf slow even though there is a new Stealth Elf? Chill?

Well no need to be so blunt,I guess. Threads are here to share information and for people to talk,the problem is with people that come to be rude because they don't share the opinion,not the people who start the discussion in a nice mood. Not that this stops the trolls/haters/fanboys,but stopping the complaints about the game altogether is like letting them win.

Vicarious has a different idea for the characters, and even though the skylanders have basically the same stats. From the 1st game stats they have lower stats. I am not sure if vicarious improved the older character stats. If they did, completely disregard me.

you can take one of your maxed out giants and put him in the swap force games... and then you have a character, that is as slow as the first time you played him in giants. Vicarious have ruined older figures, there is no point in continue upgrading when its been downgraded in swap force.

I don't like that Flameslinger is slower in Swap Force, happy? This topic is not about bugs that affect a minority...
