I am going slowly insane trying to upgrade a series 2 Stealth Elf in Giants. I get gold and then do something like a lock puzzle and some of it disappears. I buy upgrades and then some of those disappear. I complete Quests only to find that the next time I put her on those Quests don't show anymore. This happens with a couple of other characters too, while some characters have had no trouble at all.

Someone said it might be my portal - but this only happens with a couple of characters and I use the same portal for Spyro's Adventure with NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. How weird is that? I can fully upgrade this Stealth Elf, using the SAME portal in SSA and she doesn't lose any money, upgrades etc. But put in the Giants disc and BAM problems start.

So my question is this to those of you who own Swap Force - are these types of problems still happening or have they been fixed? And do you think that if I play Giants using the new Swap Force portal I might finally be able to fully upgrade this Stealth Elf and complete all Quests and have them stick?

I had the EXACT same problem. Worked fine in the first game, but constantly losing stats in Giants. The swap force portal is much more powerful and problem solved! Since buying swap force I have continued to upgrade my figures in Giants with no problems at all. Have Fun!
