Playing Swap Force on the Vita through remote play works great! Of course, you have to swap the characters on the portal connected to the PS4.

Build a robot that can do it for you and you can control via your cell phone!

I would like to know if the difference between Swap Force on PS4 compared to the 360/PS3 is really night and day?

While Swap Force looks better than the first two games, it still looks odd on 360/PS3. It almost looks as though everything is in permanent motion blur.

I wonder if the PS4 is really crisp?

I have it on PS4, GM78. I upgraded from the Wii, so I can't speak on the motion blur you mention. I can tell you that it really is amazing on PS4. Nothing is blurry, detail is everywhere, and the gameplay is smooth! If you have PS4, I recommend it.

That's a video artifact of going from 60 fps (PS4) to 30 or less (YouTube, where I assume you saw a video). It makes motion blur really look exaggerated. Also I would imagine resolution makes a big difference, which is hard to see on a compressed video. To me, I would imagine the smoothness is the big thing, it didn't look much different detail wise.

I'm interested in the difference between it and the WiiU, not sure what resolution that one is since I haven't played it yet. I cannot imagine it is enough to make me want a PS4 (yet). Maybe next year's game if there is a PS4 price drop/something worthwhile to interest me other than this. If it were wii->PS4, sure I might consider the upgrade more seriously, but not WiiU->PS4.

I got the Dark Edition for the WiiU, so when the PS4 came out I picked up a standard pack to get the regular colors of the starters. I've played the first three or four levels and the cut scenes really do look a lot crisper, in my opinion. The gameplay, on the other hand, doesn't look too different, at least to me.

The compression on the videos that have been shared, even from the PS4 itself, is really bad. I have been disappointed in the share options so far because they were making such a big deal about them, and nothing seems to be working properly yet. I wouldn't trust any videos you find online (especially Facebook and YouTube) to actually be reflective of what the games look like on the console.

I've heard lots of HiDef woes from both PS4/XBone because of issues in online gameplay related to the rescinded security model from Microsoft and the one Sony had designed but hid from gamers due to negative feedback. I wouldn't be surprised if Wii U reigned supreme in this, but since online gameplay isn't a factor here maybe they'll be the same.

When you guys say remote play, you mean on the Vita, right?

If so, how far does the remote play extend? 20 ft? 50? 100?

Actually, the farest I've seen is 10 miles, with the PS vita tethered to a 3G iPhone connection. I guess the farther away you are, the more of a delay it is, but with the 10 mile thing it was 150 millaseconds! I think something like swap force would be playable with that.

Well, you still need your portal, which is wired in your PS4 no? So you can't go that far =/

Remote play works with all PS4 games.

Remote play works with all PS4 games.

Not necessarily - Sony encouraged developers to support it for all games, but it doesn't have to.

If I get this for my ps4 could I use my ps vita as a second controller to do co op
