fire kraken is fun and better than rattle shake but since rubble rouser isn't out yet grilla drilla is the only dig. if your going towards 100 percent completion get grilla drilla but i like fire kraken more

Fire Kraken is way cooler than Rattle Shake. I enjoy the way he bounces off sky islands. Grilla Drilla is way worse and I hate how he looks. Rubble Rouser is who I really want to play with and use in Dig Zones.

i like grilla drilla i just wish that he his monkeys were more powerful

For me, they're my current favorite two swappers, so it's very hard to choose! Grilla Drilla's turrets are really neat and powerful, and the monkey attack is really cool! Fire Kraken's dragon parade is, in my opinion, one of the coolest looking attacks in the game, and all of his firework attacks are powerful and fun. If you can't decide and already have Rattle Shake, as Skylanders fan pointed out, Grilla Drilla is the only dig Skylander at this point, so that alone might give him an edge.

Has anyone from Arizona even FOUND Grilla Drilla? I have found him not once any store I went to and he seems to be pretty rare (along with Boom Jet), I found Fire Kraken at least once in Target.

I dunno who's better, but I personally have no interest in Fire Kraken and he doesn't look very appealing. Heard his dragon attack is almost uncontrollable and his one cool attack takes a long time to charge, his voice is also a little creepy and disturbing:"Never play with Fire!".

Grilla Drilla, cause he lets the monkey's out!!! And that my friend is worth it, much better moves then kraken

Fire Kraken looks cool and can be fun...

Grilla Drilla is one of the most useful bottoms in the game (actually IMO it is THE best bottom released thus far). His top is good damage as well, especially against slow moving and stationary enemies...

So if you want looks go Fire Kraken...if you want effectiveness go Drilla...

Don't want to start anything, but... YOU are interested in Skylanders??

Grilla is more solid to play while Kraken has some good moves that are fun to play. Both have extremely high damage output in melee range. Where it changes is in the ranged attack category. Grlla has the Turrets, bombs and Monkeys. Kraken only really has his Dragon Parade for range which is actually a slow moving projectile/battering ram. The Big One is a lot of damage but in my opinion takes too long to set up.

Grilla is VERY powerful with his Drill Punch. Once you upgrade to the Double Punch and the Rings of the Golden Monkey, his damage output is about 40, and it's fast.

Drilla, the bottom half, on the other hand, is quite weak, but once you upgrade the Coconut Cannon and the Carrot Bombs, he's really good.


Fire is also pretty powerful, but the Dragon Parade is almost useless if you don't upgrade it.

Kraken is great for ranged attacks, and The Big One is amazingly powerful.

So, I recommend Grilla Drilla.
