Anyone else experience an apparently random reset of any figures in Swap Force? I had a Series 1 Chill with full upgrades and up to level 20. I was working on completing her Special Quest and went to a Chompie level only to find she no longer had Call the Narwhal. When I checked her out, her Upgrades were down to the basics, she was "reset" back to Level 15 (where she was from Giants), her gold was wiped out (PITA since she was the one I'd taken to 65K in the previous) and all SF Quest progress was gone. She still had all of her Giants Quests and Heroic Challenges and was still wearing the hat she was equipped with, so it wasn't a total reset. Oh, this was on the WiiU version. Thanks.

I don't know why this would happen I have not had this problem, I wish I could help but I can't.

You should back them up using the PC tool if this is a problem...

On a serious note I have not seen this at all.

What I HAVE seen is the portal master stars going away From 20+ to 9 for no reason. All my stars for collection just dissapeared and I can't get them back.

I am playing on the wii. Last night it did something really strange. I was at portal master rank 67 and got some more stars and all of a sudden it went to rank of 80. My level 20 dark blast zone got reset to level 1. His top half upgrades were wiped out (he still had his volcano hat) but his bottom half full upgrades were still there. I bought all the stuff you can buy for being at level 80. I exited the game and turned off the wii. When I turned it back on and loaded the game I was back at level 67 portal master, however, it let me keep everything I bought from the level 80 rank. Blast zone was at level 1 with no gold. I just had to buy his upper half upgrades again and of course level him back up. Really weird as I have no idea how that all happened.

If you put them in Lost Islands they will reset.

On the ps3 and I dont have lost islands, and my scorp randomly reset down to lvl 1 no coins or upgrades but still had his hat oddly enough

Did you register it into Lost Islands using the IOS Portal?
If so, when?

So, weirdness is not unheard of with the Wii/WiiU version of the game. SO happy to risk the hard-earned progress at the whims of a piece of crappy code. Pyrofer, I'm not familiar with the PC tool to back the figures up. Can you give me more information?

Is your latest version Swap Force friendly?

The latest version is happy to back up swap force characters. The way to do it is this,
Place the bottom half ONLY on the portal. Read and save. ADD the top half without removing the bottom, read and save.

Astef69> look in the Toys and Merchandise section of the forum for a thread about the windows GUI figure tool. It lets you backup and restore figures and keep a database of all your Skylanders on the PC. I won't post any more about it here and derail this thread...

I have still not had any figure resets on the 360 version, the Portal rank problem is the only bug to hit me so far.

As usual, Activision's "support" website doesn't even mention the swap reset problem or portal rank problem...do we have any information on resolution or at least a workaround to prevent the problem?
