Well some the boss fights are fun. Like Mesmeralda, I think I'll find hers most fun.....

There's 12 standard levels, 2 adventure pack levels, and 5 boss levels.
That said, the standard levels are much longer, more content heavy, and generally better than previous titles, they're also more individually themed.

The boss levels, too, are nice to have as separate levels, they're also far more fleshed out than previous boss fights, considering SSF was basically "Evil skylanders plus arena hazard", it's a step up. Each boss also has the fun challenge of "Don't take damage!" as a star (Something I'm having a wee bit of difficulty on some of), and if you are struggling with the boss, on say perhaps nightmare difficulty, you don't have to re do the entire level to get to them for a "Don't lose any characters" star.

I confess Tower of time is a bit short for my tastes as a level, especially compared to the new ones, but considering it's optional, and actually comparable to say, a classic adventure pack, I can forgive it. Let's hope Sheepwreck shore has a bit more meat on it.

Just 12 levels, despite saying 17 chapters (not counting the 2 adventure packs). They cheated!! 5 of the levels are just boss fights!
