Yes, my computer is old. But other games work fine on it.
When I launch Skylanders on my PC, it seems to be all right in the beginning, but after 8 seconds I have 4 seconds lag. And it keeps repeating. I can't play, if it's happening! I didn't have this problem before, now when I installed Skylanders again - it somehow appeared. Any ideas what could I do to be able to play?
Oh, also. Game boosting programs, turning off antivirus/gaming mode, reducing graphic settings doesn't work.

Sadly, lag is just a common issue on the PC version. Many people complain about this, even on newer PCs. I'm guessing its from the game constantly sending and receiving data to/from the figures. It works fine on my computer, though(besides the game-breaking toy corruption problem...), so this is just an issue with incredibly poor optimisation, not something that will affect it no matter which build you use.

So I guess the only option for me is buying a console version? :/

I would say that even if you CAN upgrade your PC for it, that's a much better option to play this game. The PC version also has a problem where it will corrupt your figures, rendering them unusable unless reset. Which can't be done without playing them and going into their stat screen! You'd have to reset them using the 3DS version(will ask to reset a figure with corruption), or a version of Giants or SF... and you'd need to do everything like buying their upgrades with them again every time that you reset them. Console versions still have that issue but it's incredibly rare, never had it happen to me after 1000+ hours, you'll probably never run into it on a TV console. It's strange, I didn't encounter that problem on the PC verison much, until I beat Battlefield and since then it's been corrupting figures every time I try to play.

Oh, wow... It seems like I'm gonna need some money to buy a console then.

But yeh Skylanders is a game that needs a BEAST of a PC so its not weird if it lags... even on my gaming PC which is really good at games it lags in chapter 2 when maxed out...
