Who here also thinks they should incorparate the swapability function from the 3ds what I mean is allow us to swap our characters in game but the only difference is it registers as another skylander so for example i register hoot loop and magna charge then swap them over in game and they register as hoot charge and magna loop if you know what i mean so Instead of opening the packaging and physicaly doing it so the collecters like me who wants to keep them in their packaging can do so.

I don't. Why would I want to pay more money for a character that's meant to be swappable when I can just swap them in the game instead? It would make the swapping pretty much pointless to include gameplay-wise.

There's no point being able to physically swap if it doesn't do squat in game...
Just my two cents...

^ Yeah, that. Sorry, I did a bad job not sounding rude. That basically sums up my thoughts.

you dont get it they will do exactly what they would do if you physicaly swapped them over by but if your a collecter like me i dont want to go and buy 2 of every swapper as i like keeping them in their packaging yet i need to unpack the swappers if i want to add the extra characters in to the game its an easier way for the collecters to do that as you would have both ways either physicaly do it or do it through the game and not only that the characters dont get broken or you dont get injured by treding on them as can happen. Also if you keep them in their packaging you never know they may become valuble as most common people will automaticly rip open the packaging.

No offense... but I do believe Activision and them are more for the players who remove the figures from the box, than they are those who don't.

This is true, I know it is hard for the collectors to believe, but they are a tiny, tiny minority of the players for this game - and they definitely are not going to cater the game to your point of view. Skylanders are meant to be played with, like actual toys. Ever wonder why the Facebook page is almost always picture of kids that have fairly unimpressive collections (compared to some)? It's because the people they make this game for primarily are those kids. People who build shrines and collect figures so that they can proudly display them are appreciated by the makers, but definitely not the core demographic they are going for.

The image they want to forward to parents is young kids having fun playing the game with their figures. Creepy, OCD collectors that are usually way above the age range that keep all their toys in the boxes so they can hang them in the wall or put in a display case is not the image they want parents to have in their head when they go to the store to buy toys for their kids.
