Changing Facial Expressions? [CLOSED]

Back when the game was being developed, I read some interview where the creators claimed that in addition to the swapping, you'd be able to change their facial expressions.

Do any of you know what I'm talking about? Maybe this idea didn't make the cut, or I have just not noticed it yet?

On the Wii version, if you hit any of the directional controls on the Wii remote (Not the joystick), the Skylander will express an emotion. I have yet to see a facial change yet, though.

Yeah you just press the directions on the dpad. It only works for new Skylanders however, none of the old ones that I've tried have worked with it.

I don't think it works for Star Strike and if it does you can't see it.

Try in it place were you can the characters up close(like Clascade Glades beginning). For a character like Blast Zone, it's hard to notice.

yes it works using the gamepad, but I sometimes had to press the buttons a few times before they would start making faces

Try Dark Stealth Elf, it works with her
