I would recommend enchanted. I got him and I'm so happy I did!

My skylanders don't talk to me, but I think they're in communication, and are out to get me.
Anyway, no difference stat wise, but Enchanted might become rarer.

It took a day for me to find it!

I never get 2 of the same character hardly, so when I decide on a character I usually try and go for the exclusive. So I say get enchanted before he is gone. I mean how many granite crushers did you see on the shelf the past year? I also didn't get Night Shift or Fire Kraken just so I could get the Legendary and Jade version. But, some people may not like the variant colors so the original may be more suitable.

Enchanted will be rarer to find, as it's a variant, but I feel Regular has a nice look in colours, especially with the translucent plastic.

Both. Enchanted= Rare Variant
Normal=As of right now, could be a rare variant/mistake.

I honestly still can never 'see' the color change effect...I have both and frankly...it doesn't matter short of matching color with other swaps.

Get whichever one you like as long as you're not going to change your mind later when one or the other might not be available. It seems the Walmart (Enchanted Hoot Loop) and Target (Nitro Magna Charge) exclusives are in plentiful supply as of now, but we smart and savvy collectors have to rush out and get them right away since plenty of supply may not always be the case as with Granite Crusher at Target and Molten Hot Dog (which I never saw on a hook in store in my area) at Walmart.

I never saw Molten Hot dog on shelves either. I ordered mine on Walmart.com when it came out though.

I'd say go with Enchanted if you like the design. Considering he'll probably end up being somewhat rare, and is 3 cents less (I know it's not that much ). Personally, I like his regular design better. So I just went with regular Hoot Loop.

Got Enchanted, plan to get regular once I finish up my SSA/Giants (which shouldn't be too long now). Even though the website states our WalMart has Enchanted, it really isn't there (seems to be a trend that about 1 in 3 WalMarts got regulars instead...I've had to make some calls).

I ordered mine online though (much, much easier to get alter-ego characters that way).

I made the mistake of not getting a Granite Crusher at launch for Giants (mainly because our Target never seemed to have any in stock) and boy did I end up having to pay for it later (almost twice as much for a damaged box...at least the figure wasn't used, unlike my Polar Whirlwind...I wish photo proof of merchandise was mandatory for Amazon).

Got both...

I have two Walmarts within 10 minutes of me. Both have shelves of Enchanted Hoot Loop. As many as all other figures combined. They probably have even more cases in the back. It's ridiculous.

I went to Walmart and say zero Enchanted Hoot Loops.

I have both and I think the regular figure looks much better.
