7. didnt want to play the game till i got the ps4 but i started playing to backup all my charecters. some people were having problems backing up the swappers and i wanted to figure out why.

Wii is a great platform...put focus on the true area of the problem. I will say now will be a great time to circle back on games you didn't buy as the platform winds down from Nintendo.

Rank 33. The only problems I've ever had was the stars not showing up in the Portal Master menu, and other pictures (Hats, Charms, etc.) They were still in effect, but I couldn't see the picture in the menu. A simple game restart solved that.

Here's the proof for all the non-believers! =P It will soon be in the 80's. I still haven't done any of the time or score attacks.

Hmm was it 25 or 24 maybe 23? I'm a completionist so it takes me longer, plus night classes at college dont help eather and then there's homework, and work for that matter *sighs* @ @'

I will be SO happy if we don't need all of the stars to reach rank 80.

27 for me. Haven't been playing new levels and such a lot lately, and getting Lego Marvel last week hasn't helped either.

Was 41, then went down to 32 after glitch on the Wii U version. Star counter for collection changed to "0/94" for some reason, even though my Skylander collection count is fine.

Had to restart with a new save file, currently at 13.

Sittin at portal master rank 56, how 71, w/o time attacks or attacks?! impressive! Granted, I haven't done any either, but jeepers!

Hit 69 last night.

32. Did story mode on normal (only about one or twos stars per stage), most of the arenas, same time/score attacks, and some bonus missions. I also have quite a few other accolades (exploring Woodburrow, Skylander collection related,etc.)

763 stars to earn, so the total portal master rank would be 121.

I thought someone said 80 was the total before.. But mathematically Mantez seems spot on

They said 80 was the last HAT you unlock with Portal master rank.

Just hit rank 80 today and that is as high as it will go. Have three stared four time attack challenges since then and there anre no more ranks to gain. When you hit 80 all the stars stay full, so there are no more star bars to fill and its all just a matter of attritiont o see if you want to do all the accolades after rank 80 is achieved.

Remember, you start at Rank 1, so that's an extra rank that isn't factored into the stars.

Assuming there wasn't an artificial cap at Level 80, you have:

Story Levels - 57 Stars
Swap Zone Challenges - 126 Stars
Bonus Missons - 60 Stars
Time Attack - 57 Stars
Score Attack - 57 Stars
Survival Arena - 120 Stars
Fully Completing Levels - 87 Stars
Unique Challengs - 53 Stars
Hidden Treasures - 52 Stars
Skylander Collection - 94 Stars

763 stars gives you 127 levels worth of stars that you could earn (762 / 6) plus the level you start with, so your "virtual" maximum could be considered be Portal Master Level 128. Or 128 1/6 if you want to count that extra star left over.

You only need 474 (79 * 6) to reach Level 80, which means there's almost 300 optional stars. You don't have to worry about the Team Arena if you only have one controller, you don't ever have to play a level on Hard or Nightmare, you aren't going to be blocked from hitting maximum rank if you don't own any figures from Spyro's Adventure or Giants.

This is possibly not the best place to ask this.

Bluerosedruid is right. The rank is capped at 80. But there is no need to gather all those stars. Just play 17 story levels on nightmare mode and you get a nice hat (15 speed/25 defense/50 life).

I'm at level 0. I haven't played yet, and won't till Christmas.

Lol I'm only 13. I haven't had much time at all to play and when I do have time I don't have long enough to explore everywhere.

I am now Rank 54! Can't wait till I am Rank 80!
