Just a random (?) moment. I put Halloween/Pumpkin Eye-Brawl on the Portal this morning, registering him for the first time, and that triggered the "Indigo Forty" Goal (Add 40 blue-based Skylanders to your collection).
Being a Giant, he has the standard Orange base, not a Blue one. Now I feel contractually obligated to count the number of Blue-based figures I actually DO have and figure out if any other ones were also mis-identified.
(And ignore exactly how much money I've spent in the span of a week and a half if I already have close to 40 Blue-based figures. Sheesh!)

That must be the 3rd blue base undead I have then.

That's really weird. This game is such an enigma this time around with all the changes and issues with gameplay and figures.

I did notice that he has a Special Tag below the name when you first place him on the portal instead of a Giant tag which my other Giant figures have. |

Ineteresting. My PEB triggered as an orange-base (Wii U versions here), and I didn't get 6 until I got the adventure pack that was out. (Sticking as much as possible to the triple packs here).
The only oddball finds are happening to me when I take the new figurines and use them against the old versions (Series 2 'Special' for Swap Force Dark Spyro, and that same figurine putting my 3DS Giants into a race condition).

Yeah, I'm on the PS3 myself, so I can't tell for sure if it's registering as Blue because of an issue with the figure itself or if the PS3 version was incorrectly coded to treat Pumpkin Eye-Brawls as blue-based. It could also be that a certain figures of them were coded incorrectly and I just happened to get one of those. Not like it's really a big deal either way, other than the game thinking he's a Giant that was made for Swap Force. ![]() |

Pumpkin Eye Brawl isn't the only Giants Skylander that is counted as a Blue Base. My Accolades tell me I have 2/4 Blue Base Fire Skylanders, when I only have Blast Zone.

A lot of my "Special" skylanders show up as blue base.
