forget the never ending glitches! (honestly, in Giants, they had more, including the infamous arkeyan-jouster-sticking-his-face-in-the-wall glitch) look closely at the picture of your skylander on their stat bar.

Well, to be specific, what the OP saying is that the skylanders artwork on the top of the stat bar is drawn, not cgi. It does look like it for some but looking closley. You can get a good look in the battle mode intro for they show the skylander artwork, it looks like the colors are painted with watercolors or something. It actualy quite impressive how the artists can make it look very realistic with paint.
