Series 3's - What's worth getting? [CLOSED]

Trying to avoid going nuts this time around by focusing on finishing my Giants variants and the uniquely named alter-egos for Swap Force. However I'm aware that some of the brand new figs will be getting a different wow pow than their series 2 counterparts, and my question is which to go with?

Right now, several get covered right off the bat due to alter-egos:
-S3 Stealth Elf: Dark Stealth Elf
-S3 Eruptor: Volcanic Eruptor
-S3 Trigger Happy: Springtime Trigger Happy
-S3 Spyro: S'3' Dark Spyro

So with those covered, that still leaves 6 others without variants to make the pill easier to swallow: Chop Chop, Cynder, Gill Grunt, Prism Break, Terrafin, Whirlwind. Are their different Wow Pow's worth having yet another iteration of the character?

EDIT: And someone posted this very same topic...can we have a merge?

The other topic is much longer and (no offense) much more in-deapth, I don;t think a merge would benefit it that much.

Besides, Big Bang Trigger Happy IS the S3 form of Triggs....

Eh, meant to put Springtime Trigg there.
But in a nutshell right now the biggest problem I'm finding with these? Rationalizing having yet another version of a figure on my shelf for the sake of having 'everything' available in the game. Even with Giants S2 and Lightcore it wasn't as much a problem; here with the higher price, it begs the question "do you have to catch em all?"

So to partially repeat what I had in the other thread, briefly. after playing all of the returning Skylanders a lot, I'd say Sprocket and Gill Grunt's new Wow Pows are a lot better than just another lightcore or legendary. Sprocket's tank can do twice as much damage as it used to on top of her increased stats, and Gill Grunt's new anchor sucks enemies into a vortex with only like a 1 second charge up time. Enemies can be pulled into the vortex from higher ground and it has quite a good range. This gives Gill Grunt crowd control and the possibility of getting things down from ledges, two things he struggled with before.

As for who to avoid, Chill's Wow Pow is nearly useless and she has lower stats than the lightcore legendary.
