Anyone have tips for various the tasks necessary for the PS3 platinum or getting the full 1,000 on the 360?

So far we're having trouble with earning 3 stars on team survival and bonus mission maps, but we're also playing on easy. Does anyone know how much of a difference medium makes? Hard? We're going to beat the game on nightmare eventually but don't want to run the challenges on that level, at least not for three stars.

Is it possible to change difficulty without starting a fresh save file?

We've managed three stars on a couple of bonus mission maps on easy and came within 5,000 on the one where you need to collect 95 fruits. Ones where you don't have to do much more than battle chompies are quite easy.

Since the time bonus is so big in the bonus missions I would recommend rushing to your objectives and not going out of your way for gold. For the arenas all you can really do is try to get hit less. I realize this comes off as being mean but there really is nothing else you can do.
