We finally got around to playing it today despite picking it up Sunday at launch, and I'm blown away! Firstly, the fact that you can load all your characters onto the game makes it better. Secondly, having a difficulty settings ensures some re-playability! Does anyone know if there is a nightmare mode on this version?

Can you put more than 4 characters per element into the game? I started late last night and loaded a bunch in, but I don't think I put more than 4 of any element in. Jusr curious if the icons on the touch screen get smaller to allow for more characters.

As for gameplay, I only played the first level but I was also impressed. I'll definitely be diving back into it!

I saw a video on it. it looks like the best skylanders 3ds game yet!

I've been enjoying it so far. The graphics are better than giants ds and it runs a whole lot smoother. It seems like the omitted characters from the console version ended up in this version--Cali, Persephone, and the little lock puzzle goblin. Ninja Stealth Elf starts in her ninja suit by default which is cool. I'm playing on normal but should have started on hard...its a bit too easy. The only thing that's been killing me is some of the tougher jumping areas. The Skylanders and enemies can appear too small at times though, making it kind of hard to see enemies or which direction you're facing.

Not sure about nightmare mode...might have to beat it first before it becomes an option.

The first page was mostly pre game releash stuff. But the 2nd page is where the post releash stuff is. I've hit alot of the game machanics and didn't spoil the SL or anything. Though if you want i can.

I've completed the game on normal mode with like 9 missions that I haven't done, the others I can't do due to not having the swapforce type.
