"regular" Star Strike, no Wow-Pow? [CLOSED]

I just bought the regular Star Strike over the LC version b/c I thought she'd have a Wow-Pow skill -- not so much... Is this true for all the 'first-time' SSF characters?

Pretty much. Was the same case with new characters for Giants.

Series 1 Skylanders, like Star Strike, don't have Wow Pows.

I presume SF is your first game?
No, only Series 2/3 whatever have Wowpows.

Yeah, I just kinda assumed that there were so many LC Star Strikes, LC Grim Creepers, and LC Smolderdashes on the shelf was because people were waiting for the wow-pow version.

Lightcore sometimes have much better stats, though. Depending on how useful the Wow Pow ends up being, sometimes the lightcore is still good to use in the future.

I actually like the pose of the regular Star Strike better. However as my kids have duplicated already, I did not feel good about getting her. Only so much money at this time. LOL

Also not expecting wow pow for one is is technically series 1 perhaps it is better to say first edition?

S1 and LC don't have wow pows. S2 have wow pows, and S3 have a new wow pow replacing their S2
